Thank you for another encouraging video. I believe it takes perseverance to sail through to wherever one wants to go. I have also realized that if you confess that your salary is too little for sure you will accomplish nothing with it. I like your general outlook to life Dr Monisha.
Thank u for being this transparent.
Absolutely love your videos! Keep em coming ❤️👍
There should be chapters link in the next video.. so that we can skip to that part
Would like to request you to make a video about how to make a perfect CV
What to do if my medical school is not listed on the website of world directory of medical school so what are the step to make my PMQ verified by GMC

This helped me a lot
Me here looking for an attachment 😅

Great information ☺️ thankss❤️❤️💯💯💯
Hi Doctor. I have a question. The seats are limited for Indian students only or limited also for fmges? I mean fmges are considered as Indian students? Or the fmges are included from the country where they completed their Course of medicine?
So they have a chance of giving plab from their respective Abroad countries..
Thank you for the video mam
This video really helped me lovely video mam
It's really very much useful
Hi. Could u please elaborate the cost of living in UK while the portfolio, and plab 2? Is there any hostel or the GMC does everything?
Hey mona didi.
Are you going to stay in the UK for lifetime or are you willing to come back to India?
Lots of love from my side. ❤️
5:10-5:20
Important
Ma’am can you please make a video on how the whole career progression happens with respect to branches like your own specialty and others like orthopaedics and surgery after FY2 including the exams one is required to take for it. Please.
hi monisha, i failed in feb plab 1. i got 110, when pass mark was 115. really, frustrating🤕🤕 what to do?
Thank you for your guidance. Can I do Plab 1 after MRCP1? My date for Plab 1 is around 8 months away and I want to do MRCP 1 in between then do Plab 1 as near dates for are unavailable.
I will say USMLE is still for difficult than MRCP. I have taken both exams and i can say USMLE is really tough
Ya
Please give detailed guidance regarding getting clinical attachment.
I hold MD in psychiatry from India and have received my permanent residence of Canada recently, Can I start practice as psychiatrist in Canada once I reach there or need to do some courses?
What is your earnings as a doctor
Hi Please tell me about the licensing part after the plab passing. Is there any temporary registration after the exam that requires to link to the hospital or facility after getting the job to have the permanent license?
Thank you ma'am. You've really busted a lot of myths. I have just completed my rural bond after completing intership from govt college in India. Now, I am eligible to apply for my permanent degree as per bond rules. But, I am in doubt, if I can take PLAB 1 with my provisional medicial qualification degree or do I need to wait for permanent degree to arrive and then apply for PLAB 1 exam in Nov'22??
U can take it with Temporary or provisional registration
nov 22 dates are full.
I absolutely love watching your videos, so helpful at every level of plab journey. I do have one question though, do you think it would be possible to get plab 2 dates in 3 months in 2023 (like it used to be) as there will be no covid delay? As of now people are getting plab 2 dates after 6 months because of covid delay. Do you think things will get back to normal in 2023 (assuming there is no covid?)
True, right now its 6 months.
But if you want the seat in early 2023, it might take 4-5 months approx, although if u are in luck , u might get it in 3 months
Late 2023 might be what you are talking about, there will not be much covid effect.
@@Ck_dEviL I feel like it should be fixed by end of this year no? Because only Jan and Feb were delayed?
@@helheimpanda yeah
@@helheimpanda True but the number of poeple passing PLAB 1 are increasing too and thats the factor you should take into consideration. BTW yes the effects of covid will be negligable by the months of May/June atleast according to me
@@Ck_dEviL that is correct too but number of plab 2 places have also increased, it's just the covid delay that is causing issue. And are you talking about this year or 2023?
Thankyou for the video mam, will definitely help many.
Hey i have an doubt related to usmle.....for the exam should we have to leave their for 3months......
Hi. i am really interested in pursuing pg derma from UK.
i understood how to reach till fy2 step but i m really confused what is done after that. Like in India neet pg exam is only option to enter pg college but what is it like in UK. How to opt for college/Hopital for PG and which one is better(how to priorities) and which city to consider and steps after that.
I would be great if you answer this as m really confused.
Thank u.
which medical college did you study from? if you dont mind me asking, since i searched it up and there are only 2 indian mbbs colleges approved by gmc…. i could’ve searched incorrectly
All colleges are approved
good morning. how can my daughter contact you for some suggestion?
Can someone with family 4 (husband,wife,2 children) be able to manage with salary we get and save some money ?
To be honest, single household income with 3 dependants would be a bit difficult. I think it would be difficult anywhere in the world for that matter given current inflation. Maybe if you look for jobs in smaller towns where quality of life isn’t that expensive and if your partner could help/work as well. Maybe that could help?
Hi mam I m a final yr. Medico from India ,viewing to become anatomy professor in UK so will you please tell the process of becoming an anatomy professor in UK
Lovely video. How do you deal with patients saying they don't wanna be seen by an Indian/non- white doctor? What is the appropriate way to react?
Kindly make video on mti route to uk after post graduation in india
Thank you ma'am, can you please share the site where i can book plab exam

No blah ... Blah...
Absolutely useful

Pls make a video nd share why did u choose plab over usmle??
Here’s a video why I chose to live in the U.K. over USA - ruclips.net/video/LexbrCjDykg/видео.html
I go through your videos a lot.
I want help on me to decide
I graduaten in 2017.
Worked in Pediatric as Medical Officer for 1 year (2017-2018)
Since then for past 3 years i am jobless , preparing for PG entrance. Now i decide to go through PLAB. I have required IELTS score. Might get August/November plab1 if lucky.
Should i go for PLAB? As it would be about 5-6 years to be gmc registered after my UG.
How much chances do i have to get job(rate 1 to 100%). Heard usually with no gaps and continue job experience gets job in atleast 4-6 months
I want to bring my wife with me in UK.. I real want to settle there. Do they give dependent visa after clearing plab .. kindly help which exam should I give mrcp or plab which will allow her to come with me
She can come visit on tourist visa when you are appearing for exams. Once you have GMC registration and find yourself a job which then gives you tier2 visa. She can then apply for dependant visa on your tier2 visa.
@@drmonishamishra thank u very much replying..u are the only person who guides us
Hey Doctor,
I am an Indian medical student doing final year... Will u help me out to clear my doubt :
" if I couldn't clear all of my papers in first chance this year and become 6 months back , how its gonna affect my plab pathway? "
Please do reply
She told about this in the video , do watch carefully
I’ve heard that Indian doctors are struggling in getting jobs in UK. First you have to do something called as Clinical Attachment for 6 months for which you have to pay to the hospital. And even after that the job is not promised
Who told u so
Where are you getting this from??
Finally.. welcome back doc 😂
Ma'am do we have to give plab exam for studying MSurg?
Indian universities do not require the PLAB.
@@faithlesshound5621 i am not asking abt studying surgery in india i am asking about doing surgery in Uk
@@maithrikannan5245 You must mean the University of Buckingham's latest scam, the two year "M Surg" degree during which candidates are expected to also study for and gain the MRCS. They claim that the combination is is "analogous" to Core Surgical Training, and they charge only £34,020 a year.
The main entry route requires IELTS, PLAB and full registration with the GMC. The website, including the course brochure, also mentions an alternative pathway for candidates without PLAB, details of which are available if you contact them by email.
It's obvious that you have to contact them to find out how to evade the PLAB requirement. Asking a psychiatric trainee in England is unlikely to clarify matters.
This "alternative pathway" might be like their previous scam, their two year MD in general medicine, which was not going to require GMC registration at all: it sounded as if the candidates were going to be equivalent to undergraduate medical students, who don't require GMC registration either. In that case they suggested that MD students would be able to study for and take the MRCP at the same time. I don't think it ever took off.
@@faithlesshound5621 after my mbbs i want to study masters of surgery in general surgery how can i do that in Uk? Do u have any idea?
@@maithrikannan5245 If you want to follow the Indian pattern of medical education, but do it in the UK, you had better have lots and lots of money to waste. If so, why bother with surgery at all? Rich people study the history of art.
On the same principle as these special programmes for relieving Asians and Africans of their money, there are American-style colleges in tourist centres all over Europe where rich kids from the US can have a good time for a year or so and still get college credits. Locals don't use them because the curriculum overlaps with what they can get free at high school.
Indian entrepreneurs have been in this business for a long time. Rishis and Yogis have been teaching meditation and such-like to naive foreigners for a century or more, and now they come to study arts and crafts including "Ayurvedic Massage," Unani, etc, etc.
wow
How can you experience racism in India?
Being dark skin is the basic example
Also caste, religion
quota lol
casteism
she was good enough in acknowledging that she doesn't face the racism doesn't mean that there is no racism.
People in India say there is no casteism just because they haven't experienced it and turn away eyes from the news of casteism and other types of discrimination in India
@@AbhayRajKarun true. There is discrimination everywhere, be it the most developed place
You are so beautiful
I think oriental isn't a nice word.
Thank you for highlighting this.. I’m learning something new everyday. I’m sorry if this in anyway upset anyone from South, East and Southeast Asia. I’ll be more mindful next time to not use the term. 🥺🙏🏽
Tumse kon racism karega tum to ho hi cutie🤣
Sister... Acc to you plab taken 2years i mean for to till job.. but what about ur visa u came by tourist one . And how what's the gap between PLAB 1 & PLAB 2 cuz what if our tourist visa expires then ... It's really confusing me ... Clear it na
