the feeling of "belonging" is like lightning in the bottle, but... as in real life, every now and then the lightning really does get into the bottle and illumantes the whole room for a brief joyous moment.
The biggest feeling of belonging that i consistently get is when i do Improv with my group. We've been together for close to 7 years now, mostly for fun, with some workshops and shows sprinkled in but meeting almost every week.

Something that came from a loving place in my heart recently - I bought my dog new food because I realized I’ve been giving her the same food for a long time. I think she deserves to have some flavor variety in her life and I bet it would make her (even more) excited for meal-time. Love this video!

Nice vid hope everything turns out great; well its just how you feel at the time along with whatever you've got going on in your life at that moment, on any place you can hate it and want to escape physically or mentally to somewhere else; or that same place the very next day under new circumstances now you feel like you'd never want to leave it nor can imagine it any better I've recently realized that we should have more art that comes from a hopeful place rather than portraying suffering or etc (but that its still important and just as needed) and i feel better doing hopeful things so im starting to change those old ideas onto a more loving view, currently im doing a portrait drawing of my nephew and it would've been just that but a simple yet effective idea struck at the right time and it has made it way more impactful, meaningful, hopeful and turned it not just of love for him, but that and love and protection to every other children in the world, it's up to us to protect their future, so yeah i hope it can reach others, take care of kids, of elders, others and ourselves, its just really good benefits everyone to have a loving heart❤
I'm off to college next week after 2 years of drifting around working and travelling. I'm hoping to find some peers I can make music and art with, which might give me a bit of that sense of belonging and community. It will take a conscious effort to put myself out there, it doesn't come naturally to me, but I have to at least try. Thank you for cool video !
I just did a physical for a new job this morning. It was weird having a person with a clip board watch me lift a 50 lb box from a middle height shelf up to a high shelf and then put it back fives times. It would have been so embarrassing if I couldn’t finish the reps or something.
Lovely thoughts as always. You strike me as someone who could be successful at whatever you choose. Belonging takes time, being patient with that is the hardest part for me.
