This is why I am always frustrated when people say that messi is "just talented" and doesn't have to put in as much work as others. Being talented also means that you have a huge responsibility. A responsibility to show up to training everyday, a responsibility to not get distracted, and a responsibility to dedicate yourself to football. We see now what happens when just one of these things isn't achieved, you get a talented player like ronaldinho who is really good at football but falls off of the face of the earth because he got distracted.
