i am crying because this man reminds me of my grandfather for whom i made tea growing up, a very similar recipe. he wore a very similar ring, and a similar watch. he also looked similar to you. he is, however, no more and that's why im crying. thank you for reminding me about him.
Thank you! I think this clip is the most complete & enjoyable Masala Tea teaching technique I ever watched.😊 When I listen to you, it is better than meditation ❤❤❤ I enjoyed every sip of this chai.❤ I am Iranian but I have lived in USA all my life.😊 I subscribed today.😊
Beautiful “slow-tea” video, felt peaceful while watching it. My mother who is an Ayurvedic Doctor also makes this tea everyday. Feels so light and refreshing on the tummy.
Dr. Lad...my prostrations to u..U remind me of my Grandfather. I simply loved listening to u Sir. I am already doing the Soham meditation..but now after listening to u my faith in it has doubled. I am a Maharashtrian too n hence instantly got connected to u. Wud like to hear more n more from u on Spirituality.
What a wonderful demonstration and reminder to bring our awareness with us in our daily lives. Thank you, Dr. Lad. Also if you put a small piece of bread into your turbinado sugar canister it will keep the sugar from hardening. I use a small slice of sourdough and it does the trick. :)
Dr. Lad thank you for your wisdom in Ayurveda. You are very inspiring and now i know how to make Dr Lad's Chai with awareness thus making it a meditative experience.
i don't use tea leaves powder and animal milk in my chai .. except that i really enjoyed the process of making chai .. its like a rythmic story telling .. gives meditative experience .. Thank you Dr. Lad .. Love with Gratitude .. 🙏🏻❤️☕
In ancient ayurveda perhaps there is no mention of tea. Tea is introduced mainly by British and other European. If there any ancient ayurvedic book mentioning uses of tea as a drink, please inform me about the book .
Beautiful presentation... One suggestion which I normally do, before having the chai, I sprinkle the fine granular mixture on top, which gives extra aroma with taste...🙏
Namaskar Dr Lad, I had seen one of your videos few years ago describing Ida,Pingala and Sushumna Nadi. Request you to share the link of the Video as I am unable to find it now. Dhanyavad 🙏
Thanks Dr. Lad. With much ado about tea being harmful, I have almost changed to some silly ways. Seeing ur video n intelligent explanation I feel I can get to your divine chaay. Thank you so much. Swarnalata.
With due respect I am just sharing traditional Maharashtrian morning tea recipe . It says never boil black tea. Add tea powder after a rolling boil and turn off heat, put lid and wait 5 min, then add milk and sugar to taste. Boiling tea releases more tannins. Science supports this as well. Definitely prevents tanned guts! Search without prejudice.
@@claudiaconrad5754 Tannins are good, they do not pause any health issues, they are anti-oxidising in nature. Tannins also remove harmful microbes from the body, and fight against harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi etc.. so its a bonus actually
Ayurvedic infusion can be made without the use of tea leaf, the combination of cinnamon, clove, pepper, cardamom, and the other spices is flavorful enough that you won’t really miss the tea leaf. Just find the flavor proportions that you enjoy and you will still enjoy chai without the tea leaf.
Namaskaram Guruji, what is the significance of adding milk to the chai. I feel like it is disturbing the whole essence of the decoction. May be, we are adding the milk as we get used to it out of ignorance and so we continue to have that kick. Please clarify the truth behind adding the milk to chai. Thank you.
Wouldn't boiling tea powder cause it to become bitter? Also, isn't it best to not boil milk? It's already so processed. And lastly, isn't a low simmer better to preserve nutrients?
Thank you so much dear Sir for sharing your ultimate knowledge with all! Grateful to you!! Amazing recipe 🙏 I follow all your instructions, I wish to meet you personally one day. My question is, in Bhakti yoga Chai is not recommended as its considered a mild intoxicant. Could you shed some light on this and share your insights. Thank you & love for you 🙏🙏🙏

He is the chai in person! Kind, loving, compassive. ❤
lovely recipe and video of GuruJi. Same as what we make at home, except without milk as adding milk to tea leaves removes all the benefits of them.
Sooo sweet he is...

Wonderful Sir,today I have learned chai with healing ❤️🩹 the way you are explaining is awesome .Awaiting for more such videos ❤
I am blown away every time with the similarities between this and my culture
What's your culture?
My guess based on the nickname: Chinese? (a mandarin singer.. )
Looks just as amazing as I'm sure the chai tastes! One question: would all the masalas be okay through summer also or would it be heat producing?
Yes, I too have this doubt..?
Are tulsi leaves compatible with milk, can we add it to tea? Thanks for the wonderful recipe.
Thanks form haryana
Which spices should be used in the hot season? Fennel with cardamon?
THANKS FOR VIDEO

what's bad about tannins?

Tannins are astringent so too much can lower absorption and affect gut flora health
Thank you, I will do this. 😊
After adding milk and sugar do i turn on the stove?
Thank you so much

But tea leaves have caffine in them though. Is there any decaf version?
Please make tea for different doshas

Just curious as a beginner... Cardamom is cooling. Cinnamon is warming. I.e they are opposites. So, can they be used together?
So is it good to have black Tea or milk tea , isn't harmful for body ,
Shud we drink tea
if you apply nutmeg paste on your forehead your headache will be gone.
I am deeply grateful for your existence 🙏🏼
Plz tell is this tea good for all kind of body like cough pitt and vaat ?
Dr. Lad, what is your recommendation for those who do not drink caffeinated tea, or even decaf black tea under personal Ayurvedic recommendations?
Ayurvedic infusion can be made without the use of tea leaf, the combination of cinnamon, clove, pepper, cardamom, and the other spices is flavorful enough that you won’t really miss the tea leaf. Just find the flavor proportions that you enjoy and you will still enjoy chai without the tea leaf.
Can this recipe aggravate pitta dosha cause reflux and acidity?
I would love to try this but suffer from GERD
Please mention the brand name of chai powder.
Hi, would it be alright to add ashwagandha powder to these spices?
Yes and even shankhpushpi and tulsi

Can you tell how to remove bitterness from tea when making . When ever I make tea there is bitterness ?
I can really smell it....
Can we blend all these ingredients in a mixie and keep it ready.
Thankyou for your excellent tea preparation.
Awesome.. But Doctor made only one cup :) I like the way he teach others. Thank you sir

Wouldn't boiling tea powder cause it to become bitter? Also, isn't it best to not boil milk? It's already so processed. And lastly, isn't a low simmer better to preserve nutrients?
