Yea i have hard time with the pendulum, at the end i didn't play it with the gimmick ON at all.
In my opinion the song chart not really hard to beat, its just the gimmick that make it hard

Missingno actually has this cool mechanic where during the part of the song where you start hearing glitches, the arrow's positions are completely random, besides the order of the arrows left to right
And if you didn't know already, the mechanic for lost silver/monochrome is typing some random words and phrases written in unkown letters
Also, the jumpscares are actually set to the certain points in the song, they're just a part of the vocals
The thing that's randomized it whether it shows the jumpscare animation or not
You might've noticed that it only actually jumpscared you half of the time, but the other half was the regular animation
i remember after watching a video about your creepypasta and then started avoiding everything related to lavander town song and even pokemons it self, and a little funfact: believe it or not i was avoiding it until the day this mod was released. you made me unable to sleep... i was 10-11 when that happened tho and now i'm like almost 16 now. (yeetus)

It's nice to see you caused inspiration for this, it's also nice to see you trying your hardest even though you're not used to this kind of stuff and haven't built up the skill for the faster stuff, it's a nice thing to see overall, to used to people only posting high skilled stuff and it can be impressive but it seems there's not much room for casual stuff these days

I think this mod really builds at the lore of Hypnos lullaby, this mod has a hard gimmick that being you got to press the spacebar, to the rythm , which can get very hard.
it takes practice to get good at fnf. when i started, i couldnt FC bopeebo...now i can full combo expurgation with the hell notes

if you try how it was intended. gold in monochrome will have words that you will have to type in. hypno will hipnotize you if you don't hit spacebar in time (you know that) and missingno has the arrows moving all around the screen.

Oh yeah. The reason Hypno's head goes horrific in the second song is because he's forcing all his psychic energy into his head to take over Girlfriend's mind, because psychic Pokémon are all about mental power. So he basically shuts down all the energy in his body.

I wish he was able to see the cool gimmicks in the mod (you dont need hell mode for this) and they are
1. in golds song (or as you call him silver) celebi shows up and uses perish song to lower your maximum hp
2. in golds song at specific sections some unown language will appear (yes the pokemon unown) and you have to type what it translates into
3. Missingo changes the position of your arrows and can change you into upscroll or downscroll

Honestly, I don't blame you for turning the mechanics off... I can see what they were going for with the pendulum thing, but it gets to be a little too much to deal with ESPECIALLY on the second song where you absolutely need both hands to keep up with the notes (and it doesn't help that missing the timing and hitting the spacebar at the wrong time results in the hypnosis getting worse).
The other mechanics it adds I could live with. During the Lost Silver song, along with periodic Unown messages that you have to decipher and type on a time limit or otherwise instantly lose (some of them are jokes), the dead Celebi will pop up from time to time and pitch in a Perish Song that reduces your bar and makes your available margin of error smaller as the song goes on.
Missingno doesn't do much; it'll screw with your note displays a bit but you'll still be plenty able to tell which ones to hit (after being good and practiced of course). The Unown mechanic turns up here too, but only once and it always spells out "MISSINGNO".
hypno's lullaby was so cool, glad i was able to find the guy that made it, ya earned a sub 😂

Well you’ll be going through this again because there is version 2 build of this with remastered versions of the songs in this version and a better pendulum system where it gives you a green check mark if your on beat and gives you a red swirl if your off beat and also there is a third hypno song aswell in version 2 called lost cause it’s terrifying it’s in Hypnos cave also so many more Pokémon creepy pastas are put in the v2 of the mod btw pussy mode is broken

On hard mode on gold aka silver you have to know the unknown alphabet
Okay now you are legally required to do the base game and then come back and play it with the mechanics. (sorry for the text wall)
As someone who beat most of the hard mods and full combo'd the base game, hell mode is WAYY too hard for anyone to beat. Sure, some people have beaten it, but it's still insane.
Full list of Hell Mode changes:
In Safety Lullaby and Left Unchecked, the pendulum is 2x faster, making it really hard to hit properly.
In Monochrome, the pendulum from Left Unchecked is stacked on top of Celebi and the Unown spelling test (fun fact - the 1st person to beat this song on hell mode used a 2nd keyboard to tap the pendulum with one foot and play the other things using the 1st keyboard)
In Missingno v.1.0, it just glitches your arrows harder and has you type "Missingno", but on v.1.1.0, uhh,
>There are 13 random Unown phrases (but Missingno always appears 1st)
>At the halfway point, you have to type like 100 question marks in like 10 seconds, else you won't make it
>Your window moves around every glitch (Really freaking annoying)
>When the notes are glitched, arrows appear from the top and the bottom
>Sometimes, Missingno has you type the phrases DURING YOUR TURN, tasking you to press the notes and type something out at the same damn time
