12:40 the mechanic is that the cold meter increases the effectiveness of RED's health advantage so you should use it regularly to not die due to health drain, you only have a select number of uses though so dont waste it!
15:25 if you look closely you see freakachu biting itself, a nod to the original creepypasta where he kills you through pain split, nothing can be done about this except not sucking at the song and making sure to lower your ice meter to not get health drained to death
19:15 the mechanic is your accuracy, if it falls under 90% feraligator wakes up and kills you
24:05 the mechanic is celebi sings perish song making you unable to fall to the white health otherwise you get killed aka less health to live on and the typing obviously

Little bits of info about characters and songs
In this mod, the Hypno evolved at a very young age, which made the other Drowzee and Hypno consider him a freak. He eventually got a trainer who had frequent nightmares. It worked out well though since Hypno feasts on nightmares, so it gave him a food source and stopped his trainer from having nightmares. Unfortunatley due to constant bullying, his trainer ended up jumping from a building. This left Hypno very upset, but also without a food source. So in revenge he started kidnapping children to feed on their dreams and became what we see in the mod. Also BF and GF die at the end of Lost Cause according to the director of the mod.
Lost Silver in this mod is a became a combination of the Lost on Mount Silver Creepypasta and Lost Silver of course. After Frostbite, Gold (also known as Blake in the original Snow on Mount Silver story) dies. Insomnia has Silver and Feraligatr based on their appearance in Lost Silver. Silver lacking a mouth and Feraligatr with no eyes and constantly asleep. The mechanic in the song has Feraligatr wake up if your accuracy drops bellow 90% for too long. Then there's Monochrome which appeared in the original mod. In an unused ending for Insomnia, Silver rips his mouth open, waking up Feraligatr and it kills you, which then susposedley brings BF to the same afterlife with Gold, who's dead body is currently under the control of Unown.
(Also look out for that White Hand on your shoulder when you come back later...)
Pretty sure he was also pissed they caused his trainer to die because he loved her..

I had a hard time understanding the lost silver part, I don’t think Blake died, I remember from somewhere that Blake’s Pokémon and Red’s Pokémon both died and it left the two of them stranded and their fates were never told

Time to be the fun fact guy! The mechanic in insomnia requires you to keep your accuracy above 90%, which is stupid hard to do. This is indicated by the accuracy bar becoming green at 95% but yellow at 91 and red at below 90. staying below 90% causes the camera to zoom in slowly, and eventually the feraligatr snaps. Hope this helps!
I mean... there's not much else to it, it's just hitting the notes, not even special notes or other mechanics
@@AlyxTheProtogen the problem being that fnf's accuracy isn't just based on how many you hit out of 100, but how close to the "Sick" rating you get, so even getting 10 goods out of 25 notes can get you in deep water.
@@nebulon4752 yeah but once you're like in the middle of the song, the amount of notes you hit by then will be enough to make it so that the accuracy won't get much lower or even higher no matter if you hit them perfectly or not, you literally have to hit sicks and that's about it
@@nebulon4752 Pretty sure that's most, if not all, rhythm games. You have to press the notes as closely to the beat as you can if you actually want good accuracy.

Fun facts I know about some of these characters: in the Lost Silver Week, Blake is the name of the frostbitten trainer in the origin story of the week. The story is called Easter Egg: Snow on Mt. Silver. In the mod, I believe he’s just called Gold. For the song Insomnia, it takes place in the original Lost Silver, he’s at a Hidden Route. He stays awake to keep his Feraligatr asleep.
I love how accurate Frostbite is to the creepypasta. Typhlosion only had 6 health left, which reflects the 6 uses of the heating mechanic. There was so much effort put into this mod is indescribable.

The mechanic on Feraligater is to not get under 90% accuracy. If it stays below it for too long, you die

the mechanic for insomnia is not what you thought (if was actually related to your accuracy, hence it went from green to orange to red) but thinking now, having hit notes on and spamming notes outside the chart being a mechanic that woke up something that will end you sounds really interesting, maybe for a rhythm + horror fuse game idk
I think merg is the first RUclipsr I've seen that was able to correctly identify most of the characters and Pokemon, great job!

One last fact: in a older build, dying in the song Frostbite (Gold/Blake vs Red) would show a unfinished animation of Pikachu crawling inside of Gold/Blake and bursting from his chest

0:07 Hypno’s week is based around Hypno’s Fire Red Pokédex entry which stated that there was once an incident in which it took away a child it kidnapped. This iteration of Hypno takes it a step further by luring people to his cave so he can feast upon their families dreams. At 3:50, (as stated by Banbuds, the director of the mod) Hypno gets rid of all his physical strength in exchange for making his psychic powers stronger. This causes his body to limp and eventually deform, as seen at 7:47 .
11:31 This song is based on the creepypasta “Snow on Mount Silver” in which a terrible blizzard hits Mount Silver when Blake (the protagonist) went to fight Red. tl;dr, everyone freezes to death.
16:27 Insomnia is based on the alternate ending of “Lost Silver”, where instead of the shenanigans I’ll talk about later, Gold managed to escape his strange circumstances and eventually find his rival Silver. But both Silver and his Feraligatr were missing facial features and other defining features. The Feraligatr is stuck under a permanent sleep, but only Arceus knows what happens if it wakes up.
23:10 The normal ending of “Lost Silver”, which Gold goes through purgatory, and loses his limbs while cryptic messages spelled in Unown take up his Pokémon slots. 25:56 references the end of the creepypasta, where Gold becomes nothing but a head before losing himself and dying.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
There are few times where an FNF song has made me _feel_ something.
_Tutorial - Base FNF OST_ makes me feel nostalgic.
_Lo Fight - vs. Whitty,_ super groovy.
_Release - vs. Garcello,_ motivated.
_Overtime - Retrospecter: IPU,_ invigorated.
Frostbite makes the top of that list. No song, FNF or otherwise, has immersed me in this kind of grief and desperation.
It’s there with _Happy End of the World - XI_ and _Stained, Brutal Calamity - DM Dokuro._

i haven't see the whole video yet, but i hope if you left some content unfinished you *may* come back for another go? i'm not sure what build you're playing but in some builds you can press 7 to unlock everything on the main menu :), some builds have a mode as well that turns of mechanics and i still think you can unlock stuff if you beat songs with that on

i have some fun facts about the songs
1: in lost cause gf sings parts from three songs in og fnf pico M.I.L.F and dad battle
2: also in lost cause: hypno's form is a refrence to the boss gurdy from the binding of isaac
3: there was meant to be an ending animation for insomnia where silver screaches causing the feraligator to wake up and chomp on bf
4: there are many more songs to play so look forward to it

First of all, get well Merg and o hope your recover isnt as painful as some can be and rest well!
Now another thing: If you activate bot Play at any song, the message which normaly appear "Bot Play" will be changed each song to something rude towards you which is a funny detail while at a certain song it actually gives you lore yet i wont say which one ;)
Also, each pause menue has a different view so it sure would be awesome if ya show each one yet i dont if the screen changes in the song too, such as in the monochrome remix where the first phase is a slightly remixed. Also, at 7:26 you can hear that GF sings the first song of the original game against daddy dearest which i find really cute since thats the first battle BF actually ever had. Ngl i replay of the original would truly be so nostalgic ngl.
Another thing which you will get later: Do NOT choose middle! I recommend to choose left since i think it would be the best for you.
Also, A LOT of mods you once played got a version 2 like midfight masses, Garcello, the original B-Side mod, The Binding of Isaac and some more and some even a version 3 such as The Sonic Exe mod, Vs Dave and Bambi which actually is a really cool mod nowadays. aswell as there are surly a lot of really cool and really old mods such as Friday Night Fever as example which deserve to be played or one certain omori mod where ya play as Omori and Basil against Kel, Aubri and Hero which surly is awesome too even tho its just one song yet an awesome one for sure, not to forget midfight masses b-side where i can assure you that you wont survive b-side ruv, yet sadly his new sprite isnt in the mod yet.
Other than that, im really glad i randomly found a video of yours which had an old youtube error multiple years ago. Always love to watch your videos and you are also the only person i watch on youtube who speaks english since since im not interested in english speaking youtubers.

How the Cold Meter mechanic works: Look on the top of the cold meter. And for every time Merg presses space, the little fire guy at the top has less and less fire around him. Telling you how many uses left. The higher is the meter is, the more damage you take.
Fun facts:
-You get 20 pp for frostbite
-You can hear the pokerap in the background of the pokedex
-One story is unique to this mod. It was created by the developers. (you haven't unlocked it yet)
-You need 85% accuracy or higher to win Insomnia

For some reason I've been obsessed with WingDings and Relighted from the X!Event mod. Great timing considering generation 9 came out a little over a week ago. That wasn't too bad considering you're still a little under the weather, but it's also important to get back to your usual self.

I'm gonna be honest, I find it weird that he just jumps into the game real fast, but if that's what he wants to do, or what other viewers like then he can do whatever he wants to.

i didn't know they released or canceled the mod
i'm happy and sad now. but i finally beat left unchecked with mechanics on.
tips on how to actually do the pendulum:
do something to keep your finger in sync with it with another limb, your fingers will get mixed up if you try to focus on moving them for 2 different things. so instead, try to keep your rhythm by saying a "tick,tock" or "1,2" in your head or out loud in sync to the pendulum, when you get that in rhythm, it helps you keep your spacebar in rhythm, you can also bounce your leg, but i've found the tick tock method to be the best. you can also bop your head, which was the first strategy i ended up figuring out, but the music might mess up your sync
and here's some more technical tips,
if you try to spam notes, you might accidentally start spamming the spacebar. don't risk it.
it seems the pendulum speed is scaled to the tempo, this is extremely useful because this means you can actually just look at the character idle animation, it perfectly syncs with the pendulum.
and the most helpful tip for people struggling on first song
the instrumental (lavender town remixed) is actually synced with the pendulum, try to pay attention to it. sometimes the syncing instrument will stop or off a beat and return to syncing, but it can help you keep track.
that's all i figured out.
(if you still can't beat it and want the pendulum, just use a metronome if you are desperate , or use your leg for spacebar if you are insane)
Something many people probably don't know is that the hypnosis isn't as effective if it is your turn, so unless there is a duet happening, don't focus on the spacebar and you will be fine. It's how I got through Hypno's week (except Lost Cause, because that is duet heaven).
