Great information in this video. Im purchasing Hondata S300 V3 tomorrow so I searched RUclips and stumbled across this video. This will lead me in the right direction.

battery going out and not working is a sign of cheap chip memory that requires a power source to "remember". If what you say is true Hondata version 1 is not designed to last kinda like light bulbs designed to burn out after 500 hours use so you have to buy more...yes they do that
A simple chip replacement solves this issue people figured it out and burton racing makes a replacement battery.

I have done everything following the video and my cars check engine light is still on and is still registering the old chip.
Weird, it won't let me erase or upload anything to the ecu.
Is the ecu password the same as Hondata website?

I had a question.i installed a aem x series wideband i connect the white wire on d12 then change it to d14 then wired it to analog input 0 same result , the afr on the smanager display stuck to 17.50 .how can i fix it. Thank you :)

@Texas Honda Channel Any chance you could do a video or two about Kpro? I've got an RSX with K24 swap, I live in the sticks with no one around to help tune, I'm NA with basic needs not wanting to run lean or issues with the 50 degree VTC I installed (and Type S oil pump)

How do you set up tunes on the on the fly via switch?
I’m not exactly 100% sure but I usually have 2 tunes setup when I do it. One with my 93 low boost tune and e85 high boost tune when I wanna switch it up i literally upload the other tune and that’s it. I’m sure there is a way to do 2 tunes but I’m still fuzzy on it.

Can you get pre loaded maps for like different injector sizes fuel pumps cold air intake a turbo maps ect? I know with nissans some ford's n dodges you can depending on your tune software used. Alot of good info btw. Thank.
The S300 software has a vault with maps from community members that you can sift through. They have data already there for a select number of injectors and different map sensors, but it's kind of limited

Can anyone help an tell me what I need to get an do. Have a 02 accord an putting in a h22a. What ecu do I need? An get it chipped or go with hondata s300?? Any help would be great. Not honda guy so..🤷♂️. I'm into this unknown brand called Dsm? Just a awd,dohc 2.0 small little toy, also got this thing on it that goes stutu tu tu an psssst. An got dsmlink. Haven't played with it yet. Building it an figuring out as I go. But the honda is my ol ladys an I blew the f23 so why not put in more power??
