But that's not important. Obamacare is discussed at length, people call in with their experiences with the new law.

Not really... he fails to acknowledge a lot of those "illegals" do jobs no one else wants to do. It's like he assumes all of them go on welfare once they come here and that isn't always the case... Illegal immigration has pros and cons.

Medicare/Aid results in big losses for hospitals and the industry altogether. They make up for those losses by overcharging the private side. No coincidence that private premiums skyrocketed with the ACA (Medicaid expansion)

If everyone contributed effectively we would have the greatest care and it would be affordable. Unfortunately there are too many dependants depending on everyone else to help with their bills

Opie might actually be right here- as an elementary school teacher I’m constantly amazed how terribly kids treat their parents now- even when both of them are working multiple jobs just to make sure the kid can see a dentist and get their eyes checked. Kids have become way more ungrateful and Obamacare only makes that worse- with the need to work more now the kids end up being raised by a smart phone and a tired grandparent. Jesus let’s give grandma a break and make it so a spouse (either, who really gives a shit) can realistically stay home at least until the child is in high school. Kids behavior has gotten worse, their social skills and ability to have good relationships has gotten worse, their literacy has gotten worse (not read to at home) and not to mention their health has gotten worse- it all comes back to having an active parent home in the home to raise them well.
The government needs to structure Shit so that parents can parent. That’s their job.

I HAD a great plan. $200 a month including dental through Anthem. Now because of DickheadCare its cancelled. Starting this December my plan goes up to $370 a month and doesn't include any dental and my deducible goes up $500. So, to get dental my NEW plan will be twice as much with a higher deductible.

You don't have to do anything if the insurance you have offers, "Minimum Essential Coverage." Go read the ACA and try to find a solid definition for what the MEC is - it has nothing to do with the type of coverage, it is based on the price of that insurance in comparison to your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI). In other words, if your insurance is not expensive enough, you can end up paying 1% of your income as a penalty next year and that goes up every year.

Hes also not the president. What makes Kusinich a brilliant guy is, he know how to play politics. He has to play the game and hes a political master. Whats messed up is that his own Party divided is district into chunks in which i believe he lost his seat as a result. His own party attacked him because of his ability to reach people and tell them what's really going on in Washington. Hes a good man.
