Funnily enough, I actually thought it was *innovations* instead *inhibitions* in the song *There's Nothing Holding Me Back* as well. Maybe it's because I've never really heard the word inhibitions much before. 😁
Mooms doesn't need to worry so much. She is the Owl, they aren't known to be the most graceful of birds but they are seen as the most fluffy one's which fits with her. Something like the Mascot of the group
Mascot is a bad way of putting it as that can be seen as less then a full member. Mooms is trying her best and putting herself outside her comfort zone. Not her fault the rest of the group is stacked singers and dancers. Just like Subaru back in the day and now look at her. One of the best performers in Hololive.
@@Eiji475 True Mascot might not be the best word, I dont really know how to describe it but most of Holotori seem to be pretty bright and cheerful some more of course than others and Mumei is the chill person of the group who can vibe along.
I mean, yeah, during their performance as Holotori during the Splash Party concert it was obvious how nervous Mumei was unlike the other members, just give her more time to adapt, It took her quite a while to feel totally comfortable in the Council off collabs and now she´s just a riot.
I was heavily involved with theater productions when I was in middle-school and high-school, and I very much relate to this. Acting? No problem, was quite good at it. Singing? No problem, was quite good at it. Dancing? God did that give me a headache to learn and do the choreography. I could fake it well enough to do it after months of practicing, but compared to many of the people I acted with in those productions, I was an absolute chump when it came to dancing.
Heh, this is actually pretty insightful. She's not a dancer... but she knows enough to know that some moves fit her, and some don't. After the Holotori stuff, it would be a GREAT time for her to get some dance lessons, because it would be easier for her to find her "style", now that she knows a bit of what works and what doesn't.
Like the majority of holomems, Mumei didn't think being an idol was an actual requirement LOL They all thought it was just a joke, or just part of the lore, until Yagoo gave them all 3D models....
Mooms may not be a dancer, but she's definitely learning, and it'll get easier with practice. Holotori has some great dancers in it though. Subaru is the embodiment of "giving it everything", while being very technically sound. Kiara has a tonne of experience. Not sure about Lui or Reine, but both have a lot of confidence and control, and are clearly skilled. I can see why that could be intimidating.
I know what she's talking about. I can't dance on the fly. If you tell me specific moves to do and when, I can practice and do those specific things at those times. But if you play some music and ask me to dance to it, I really can't. Even with couples dancing, I just end up sort of just walking around with my partner for a while and that was just at my sister's wedding.
I dunno, I think it's possible to worry too much about that sort of thing. Part of the charm of any band/unit in my opinion is that they're all slightly different so if they're not perfectly in sync on stage with the dance moves or whatever I actually like that more. Seeing some idol groups, and especially k-pop groups move like mirror images of each other just looks off by being too perfect, if that makes any sense.
The lyrics is English and Mumei is only native English speaker among them. I’m non-English speaker and I like her singing part the most because her pronunciation sounds “very real” and her voice is full of confidence. It makes the song much more brilliant.
The only ones in HoloTori that can be considered dancers are Shuba and Kiara. Reine is, from what I've seen, like Mumei, and Lui is more of a upper body movement type person.
Most people would look like they don't move very well if you compare them with Subaru. When it was revealed that Polka was gonna perform with Subaru, (I think it was HoloFes?) her first reaction was basically "oh shxt, I'm gonna look like a noob next to her!" 😂
Don't mind,if you really worry with dancing just say this magic word "I'm a dancer that is to say a conduit"and continue the line maybe it can calm you down a little.
I have the same problem I can imitate dances pretty easily but I have problems with coming up with my own dance moves. So if there's a song i don't know at all and tell me to dance to it I would freeze and look like a wiggling stick since I can't come up with some moves
I must admit I do feel a little bad for Mumei being the only member of Holotori who can't speak Japanese fluently. In the talking segments of the live events they've been in so far the other five were all chatting to each other in Japanese 95% of the time while Mumei's just standing there awkwardly not knowing anything that's going on.
didn't nerissa herself say that like "even i know i can't be part of holotori because the ideal idol group member count is 5" or something in one of her first streams? i think kiara too said she couldn't make her a part and like instead settled for like making nerissa her intern instead
Thing is, Holotori is a official thing now (i think), so they probably already have a lot of plans that involve the 5 girls, adding someone now would maybe mess some stuff that might be already planed with staff. Idk tbh, but maybe, in the future, Nerissa joins the group.
Umisea did add Chloe to the group after her debut, but as others have said adding a fifth member to a group of four is better than adding a sixth to a group of five. Also while Umisea was a group entirely devised and assembled by Cover management, Holotori have already been known as an unofficial group for quite a while now even though they've just recently been made official. Adding a sixth member after the five of them have been established for so long might feel a bit forced and throw the group off-balance. Also, all five existing members have 3D models and having just one member of the group be a cardboard cutout in live shows and events would be awkward. After Nerissa's 3D debut, her joining the group may be a bit more likely.
1:27 "Inhibitions" not "Innovations".
Gotta innovate those moves!!! lol
If she was capable of innovation while dancing, there would be no point to this clip. :D
Funnily enough, I actually thought it was *innovations* instead *inhibitions* in the song *There's Nothing Holding Me Back* as well. Maybe it's because I've never really heard the word inhibitions much before. 😁

If they're fluffy, I dunno what Watame is anymore then

Moon being nervous adds to her cuteness, which is her role in the group, the shy one
Moon?
Moona. @@daruma56563
As in the quiet psycopath one i guess?
Umm... I think you've got the wrong name, but it's true either way...
The shy one and dangerous type
"I didn't want to dance! I was just following orders!" Mumei says to the judge.
Holotori is such a good unit tbh
Still can't believe gaslighting Subaru after all these years paid off like this 😂
@@Red_ValentineWhat'd they say to her? You're a duck lesbian?

Nowadays you can just hit the griddy and get away with not actually dancing
Mumei is so brave for getting out of her comfort zone and trying new things. I couldnt imagine existing in 3D.
Moom hips don't lie ❤
Just stick to Wawa like she's chicken mom. She loves to help Mooms out 🧡🖤

mumei is best singer in that group though! most vital and needed!
she isn't nervous making subaru quack and killer her in game ahahaha
No dance Mumei. Her talents are to sing, draw and being silly and adorable.

Such a sweet birb. Just give her time to warm up to it. She has lots of good people around to help her.
Can't wait to see the poses they request of her to do in the showcase

Silly owl
mooms is me fr fr… like i cannot dance on my own or do anything without any reference point.
oh wow, she’s totally like an owl, they don’t move that much (in this case, dancing), unlike other bird species in this unit

never noticed before but wow she really does sound like Gura
do this and do this and then do this then forgor
1:07 don't forget the WOOO!TECHNIQUE!! TECHNIQUE!!
Honestly no matter who else is around I always look at Subaru. Her movements are ahead of the pack no matter who she is paired with.
When she started to speed up her talking am I the only one that heard fauna?

Huh huh huh, HoloTories, bri'ish chuckle
If Owl just be herself, we are good. 👍
well yeah you can see that during the holotori performance she is not moving realy well if you compare her to the others
It's okay , there's still room for improvement.
For someone who's not actually dance a lot, mumei is doing a wonderful job
She did pretty good in Lui's 3D live, I'm guessing she didn't get enough practice in for the holotori SP performance. That's fine, just practice more.

mooms was speaking raspier than usual and she sounded extra gura like today
Well moooms mind is turned off . It's fine
Ahh, the forced unit by the Phoenix that likes to suffer and put pressure in people that maybe doesn't like to suffer like her.
Mumei: Perfect Trace user
Idk. mumei's poses at the end of rise and holotori song say differently
Please move mumei closer to bae and let bae teach her for like a few months with a scheduled routine. Also like, build up moving/dancing habit
Subaru is a master
I didn't knows If anyone in hololive beides Bae comes Up with their own choreography. Maybe Astel?
Mum could be so dangerous if she can maximize her big hips by dancing
Just check her MMD dance and it's 🔥
Is this about the jump in Lui's 3D live? People thought she had a bum knee.

Not to hate, but you can tell on the mv she doesnt dance
