What did we find in the woods

What did we find? We think we found a mine shaft or tunnel and we have no idea how deep it is. I almost lost my drone flying it down the first shaft. We lowered the go pro down the second shaft and it appears the tunnel goes very deep.

It's a very old town, I was thinking about talking to some of the locals. I'm pretty sure it's all mining related.
