@flopstick_ thanks for asking. In the past year I built a tiny home and now live off grid. My comp is too meaty for me to power it at the moment. So I’m back to drawing. But loving doing illustration of nature sketches… so I’m happy
05:02 You say you would’ve closed the arc, but that’s one of the coolest things that define that picture in my opinion. Those rocks almost look like two Pokémon fighting each other or at least standing face to face and you can feel the tension in the air. I love that detail.
14:33 *Dragonite (Sorry, I couldn't help it!) Insanely useful video! Loved how you carefuly went through every artwork and I learnt a lot from this, thanks! :)🙌
Close the arch on the first sample? Are you kidding me? That takes away so much of the character of the piece and like you said, it still serves as the wonderful framing device for the main character.
You are totally right. It is a small deal. But I just really loved the broken arch. I think it adds so much and to take it away, well, if I was the AD, I would not want that. You were the one who was pointing out "triangles" as design elements. The broken arch makes two triangles. Completing it makes a circle...which does call more attention to the main figure, framing him in a circle...but I think it goes too far. @@TylerEdlin84
Awesome video as always, I feel like I learn more from this channel then anywhere else. Maybe I'll be able to find time to pitch something in for the next challenge and learn along the way!
The magnitude and threat of marine and estuarine pollution is gradually increasing with the growing use of sea for commerce, mineral and oil extraction, nuclear weapon testing and recreational activities. The other reasons are the river run-off carrying various categories of pollutants from the cities, towns and agricultural lands, atmospheric deposition, oil spills etc. The effects of marine and estuarine pollution are severe. Apart from bioaccumulation and biomagnification of conservative pollutants across the food chains, loss of sensitive species, dominance of opportunistic species create a massive imbalance in the community structure of marine and estuarine environments. Anthropogenic pollution may reduce biodiversity and productivity of marine ecosystems, resulting in reduction and depletion of sea food resources. Majority of the anthropogenic and industrial pollution ends up in the ocean via the conveyer system of estuaries.
It is often difficult to regulate marine and estuarine pollution because the arms of marine and estuarine pollution spread over international barriers thus making regulations, hard to create as well as enforce without appropriate awareness of marine pollution and international participation. The necessary global will to effectively address the issues may prove inadequate. Information on the sources and harmful effects of marine and estuarine pollution need to become a part of public domain and awareness. Also quality research and documentation are required on continuous basis to fully establish the current scope of the issues. Policies need to be implemented both at national and international levels on the basis of the outputs of these researches.

Just started the transition from portraits to environmental art. Your design/composition videos have been a massive help- thank you!
how is it going? thinking about transitioning from portrait studies all day to concept design.
@@TheAimtic I'm a hobbyist painter so slowly and still at early stages but now I don't feel I'm doing it quite so blindly.

Yeah preference at the end of the day with a lot of this
i think its so sad that the pokemon team are soooo overburdened with constant crunchtime type deadlines. its just not sustainable
You explain your thought process and your reasonings so well in a clear and concise manner, you're an incredibly good teacher!

Really appreciate you putting all these tips together! The theme idea for your videos in combination with your community is super refreshing!
wow, you actually fixing the art is GOLD for me, this is so educative
Ah I didn't have time for this round. Maybe I'll manage next month. These are always so incredibly helpful!

Let’s be real it’s not a big deal either way. Preferences will always vary. Always happy to see everyone’s passionate feedbacks.
