It took me about a day to learn every feature! One-off the most intuitive midi controller I have used. I have Bitwig as well as Live 11 and it's even more integrated into Bitwig than even Ableton due to the custom scripts I use for it.

Can you make a video where you play it like a piano, and express your feelings? How do you rate it compared to the M-Audio Oxygen Pro? I am a newbie, interested in synths and virtual plugins. I have to choose between these two keyboards. How can the lack of aftertouch be remedied? In general, which do you choose between the two? Thanks :-)
Im in the same situation I can not decide. I feel the integration with the daws and layout is better in the Launchkey, but the keyed which is super important should be better in the oxygen... Did you buy one already?
Hi there, sorry I missed this comment somehow before! The keybed isn't bad, but I prefer the Oxygen Pro. Being semi-weighted, although on the lighter side, it just feels like a better quality keybed, plus you get after touch. I'll try to do some additional videos on the playability of the Launchkey keybed in the near future! Unless you're dedicated DAW is going to be Abelton Live, I would lean towards the Oxygen Pro as being the better controller. That's just my opinion though!
Great descriptions on how to connect, but I keep getting the error message saying ‘pro tools is unable to communicate with the HUI’ I’ve tried everything the internet says. Any suggestions? Also if the message doesn’t appear, the track is armed but no sound is coming out?

Hey there! First off, my recommendation would be the Oxygen Pro 49. The keybed is better (plus it includes aftertouch), more controls (especially for Pro Tools), and an on/off switch (may sound stupid, but I like that). The Novation Launchkey isn't bad, but I think the Oxygen Pro has the edge. The only reason I'd lean towards the Novation Launchkey is if you're planning to use Abelton Live as your dedicated DAW....in that case, the Launchkey has some nice features and control mapping. Hope this helps!
I have ordered a Launchkey 88 to use with my Nord Stage 3 compact to expand the range of the Stage 3. First off will this work? I tried it with my old Yamaha KX88 and it does work, but the X88 takes a moving company to get it around and not good for playing out. I thought you having knowledge of both keyboards would be a good person to ask. Thanks in advance for your reply.
well, i try the way that you explain and yes, protools recognize the controller and i can use faders and the trasnport buttons, but it dont let to arm/unarm tracks, and it does not "reset" the board, like you said. I'm using protools 12. Can you help me? Thanks
My computer's cpu motherboard intel dh55pj usb mass storage disable because there is no usb drive for this cpu so the usb cable of Novation launchkey 61 mk3 has to be pulled out every time after turning on the computer,Any solution sir ?

In my launchkey 49. when i tape keys, they are not sounding instead of c5.
All the keys of keybord working but not sounding in fl studio.

Yes, that should work! I’ve connected my NS3 to my hammer 88 pro and it works great! You’ll just need a 5 pin MIDI cable
