This is a great keyboard! I got the 37 key model and it's been doing wonders for me so far. I needed something to replace a keyboard that wouldn't work with Pro Tools, and this did just that and so so so so so so much more! I'm in love with the pads on top along with the familiar and extended amount of keys.
I will say as a warning, for windows users with McAfee, if the driver and Novation Components app aren't in your excluded files in Real Time Scanning, your computer will restart once the keyboard is disconnected, or, in my case, as soon as you plug it in. Once you get past that, you'll be in MIDI heaven.
Overall, it's an absolutely awesome budget keyboard with a slue of included software! I'd recommend it for starters like me

Hey Taetro! I've been watching your videos for a while on how to produce music! And because of it i decided to get my own midi controller and I'm getting the launchkey mini mk3 in a week or two👌🏻😩
Been debating which keyboard controller to get for awhile and this seems dope. The scale mode selection basically being straight off the Circuit is super smart and LOVE that they put a screen on there so you can actually see/confirm selections. Great video and glad to see your studio is coming along!

I own a MK3 37 key one myself. I love it, and the size is perfect for my needs. The larger ones are not as portable, and the smaller ones are too compact for how I like to use it.

Great video as always! I was religiously waiting for launchkey news since the launckey 61s were out of stock, i waited so long that i bought an arturia essentials 61 and it came yesterday! Knew i shouldve waited longer!

the Arturia will still get you far! Work with what you’ve got and maybe get a launchpad to add in the missing functionality 🤔

1. How does this stack up against the keystep 37, in terms of keys ?
2. Can I control a MIDI instrument with the pads instead of the keys ?
3. Do the knobs also send information via the MIDI out ?

Such a useful video. I've had an Akai mpk mini on order for 2 months, but this has got me thinking! As a piano player, I'm attracted to the idea of 37 keys instead of 25. Plus I use Ableton. 🤔
It would seem, with the added octave, you could set it up so it plays 2 octaves on the "lower octaves", thus getting full chords while maintaining portability.
Loved the video! I was hesitant to get the MKII 49 key back in Feb in hopes they would update it. Did not expect to have a 37 key option and I'm thrilled! I'm looking at getting this for my first keyboard but also interested in the Launchkey Mini MKIII. Which would you recommend?

It depends if you like full size keys or if you prefer a keyboard that fits in your bag!
This is the best keyboard at this price point. If it had endless encoders it would have been a clear winner.

Great video. Can i do incremental program change with the buttons? i m aware that i can map each pad to send one program change. but this doesnt allow me to scroll all the presets in synths with hundreds of presets. i dont want to use a knob to scroll through presets. not precise.

I saw your ADSR course for launchkey. Great stuff. Can you share your beat repeat ableton custom plugin that you used on the master channel? Or do a video on how to make our own?

Can you plz demonstrate how well can we control and configure this Launchkey with NKS plugins of Native Instruments. What feature would we be missing? It would be amazing coz I am torn between the two. NI has amazing sound design plugins and integration but Launchkey is amazing for learning, pads and Ableton. If we can control most of NKS compatible plugins through Launchkey then it would be just amazing. Hope they also add endless encoders in the next update.

i have a question if I dont have any synth yet, which one is the first I should by? considering that i'm a Singer Songwriter that ony have apiano casio cdp120, and I use it as midi but I'm not able to do all those things... so I'm curious, which one do you recomend? the launchkey mini? or the launchkey 25 or 37? cause my first instinct was to by the mini, but now i'm not sure

Do you have or could you possibly do a video for the launchkey 61 mk3 setup in FL Studio?? I’m sure the 37 key setup would be similar but I can’t figure out how to control the transport functions (like play, stop, etc) through the pads. My old MK2 could seamlessly control all those functions no problems

If you have a laptop you can take on the road, I'd recommend the Launchkey Mini MK3 controller to get you started! That's like the little brother to the controllers in this video. Great price (~$110 USD), amazing functionality (pads, keys, function buttons, etc.), small form factor (great for travel), and it comes with Ableton Live Lite, which is a free (but very capable) music production software. I think you'll be able to get some pretty good mileage (sorry, couldn't resist the pun) with just those few things! Cheers and good luck 👍
