Dear sister Ghena, first of all I want to tell you that on the whole Internet there is literally nobody who creates such peaceful, motivating, simple yet interesting content! All your videos manage to calm and comfort me❤ I'm curious since you once mentioned that you moved to the US only for studies &lived most of your life in the UAE .. do the States feel like home to you now? Or do you feel homesick a lot? For some reason I often feel out of place and "homesick" in my own hometown where I was born and raised and my family lives here too but due to it being a non-Muslim country my soul never fully feels at peace or settled. On one hand I think it's a good sign but on the other hand I wonder whether that's something I'll have to deal with my whole life..I mean if I move from here where else could I possibly feel more "at home" 😅 sorry just a random thought that crossed my mind while watching the vlog🙈
I am a born Muslim but started practicing few years back. I still face a lot of rejections from my Muslim community for hijab. And I have seen way better and satisfied Muslims who are in non Muslim country. It depends on your surroundings
I can feel you sis. The truth is that, Dunya isn’t our home. We may feel the home vibe momentarily but that won’t last and leave us with a void feeling. This is how our life will go on. We’re only travelers from this Dunya to Akhirah. And InShaaAllah, Jannah will be our Home ❤

I definitely have so much more to learn 🤍 Some things that have been helpful, taking classes, reading detailed Tafsir books like Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Tafsir As Sa’di, Tafsir Al Jalalayn. Also knowing/learning the Arabic language is helpful. May Allah bless you!

Wa Aleikum Asalam, Two main things: - looking out for the sun to see sunrise/sunset - seeing the route you are going to be flying over and checking the prayer times in those countries you are flying over to have an estimate of what range to expect the prayer times to hit Hope that made sense!

Assalamualaikum sister, you can take out the Qur'an from the bag/purse, put it somewhere safe, and after done with the washroom, take it back.
