Dan!! Why couldn't I have found this video 30 years ago when I started taking art seriously?!! I've always struggled with developing head proportions by using the Loomis, Hogarth, or Bridgeman methods. In 14 short minutes, you completely explained it in a way that I get. THANK YOU!!!

Dan, appreciate the fact that you verbalize your thought process as you create. This takes a conscience effort; verbalizing the normally unspoken inner "voice".
It is very helpful for those of us striving to learn, to simultaneously hear and see the creative flow; to see not only the how but also to hear the why.
Many presenters either forget or minimize this concept.

Thank You for putting this all in one place. If I had a SCREEN CAPTURE I would have done that but cannot find one for my iPad. However, I did find the books by Andrew Loomis. I won’t list all the titles I bought but I found most of his works on www.abebooks.com and got some good deals but many more are there for gigantic prices. It is no wonder, Loomis takes you through all this so well. I’m redrawing everything in Loomis’s books and trying to become habitual with the method. I like the angle of your camera, and the clarity of your video. I find it really challenging to video my drawings (for friends). As always you are the best online source of concise lessons, and I know many folks who feel you are what they look for in a teacher. You are really helping my work. I’m drawing with much more confidence. Got a lot to learn, however. Keep going!!!
