EFF leader Julius Malema says the case against him and his bodyguard Adriaan Snyman in the East London Regional Court is a political witch hunt and abuse of limited state resources.
The duo are facing charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and contravening the Firearms Control Act.
The incident occurred during EFF's 5th-anniversary celebrations held at Sisa Dukashe Stadium at Mdantsane in 2018.

Julius _ nobody cares whether you happy or not. Your behaviour in most public utterances- including in parliament is to attract media attention, and you go away feeling relevant , sadly its to 45,5% unemployed young individuals (aged 15-34 years), that does not pay a cent towards taxes.
