You guys need to start using the high quality version of the demux algorithm. I know many people feel that the lower quality stem sep algorithm is good enough, but it's not. Not for all applications and not good enough for some larger sound systems. At least give the option so people can use it if they want to deal with the additional CPU strain and additional time necessary... The acapellas are just not good enough for use in a live setting on a club or festival stage. Maybe good enough for a bar or wedding DJ system.
Yes, we could add a switch to the configuration. It is three times slower, so during editing, it takes more time to wait for the instant stems. Did you know we use an HQ3 MDX model for the extraction of the vocal only? So if you mark a block and then press Cmd-4, it will use this other model. It's even better than HQ Demux ;-)

There seem to be a bug in the Windows 2.6.34 installer. Same error in the downloaded setup or if you do an in app upgrader. It complains about files that can't be closed in the old application. Is this just me, or is it a general issue?
We did release 2.6.36 today This issue should be fixed now, but if you see this message again with this release you need to install the update like this : A. Start>Run (Windows key+R) B. Paste the following text " taskkill /F /IM DJ.Studio.exe C. Click OK D. Click Retry in the installer.

not true. We use Demucs as stem separating technology. Just like Ultimate vocal remover. Same tech, same quality. Ultimate Vocal Remover is a website where you get a vocal. DJ.The studio takes the vocal and keeps the beat grid intact to mix it into any other song. A big big difference in experience.

Sorry to hear you have a negative experience. I believe you refer to the beta function in split stems 4 Ableton that did not work on Windows. It is working now correctly. Please contact us at support and we can help you. I'm sorry you are shooting from the hip like this.

We need the ability to make a video mix using local videos. I requested this feature almost a year ago. You are not catering to video DJs
Hold your horses. First we cater to music DJ's. We have a lot of requests and need to prioritize. Don't judge us by the fact that you want videos.
But no worries, we will work on adding support for MP4s.

This is completely broken and does not function. Please dont do like I did and invest the money before testing. 0/10. Would not recommend.
