This game is such an underrated gem. I feel like this doesn't belong with current Playstation brand. They are all about realistic graphics, gritty cinematic story and shooters. You know, The Uncharteds, The Last of us-es, the Killzones. That's what their defining studios are making now. This felt to me what a mature-ish type game Nintendo would have made. Whimsical, cute, stylized, BIZARRE. This literally sits besides Breath of The Wild in heart. This definitely belonged to PS2 era Sony, the one that made arcadey God of War, stylized Shadow of Collossus, Ico and such. When they were grand but stylized. Heck, Xenoblade 1 has a lot of similar vibes. This and Vita, I bought together. Loved them both. They sit together with Switch and Breath of the wild as a marvelous pairs. Just one pair was appreciated, other was kinda gimped by Sony (Ugh, those memory cards were outrageous.)
But the production value and variety of that games soundtrack is incredible though, my personal favorite video game soundtrack still goes to SFIII 3rd strike, Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania SOTN.

I bought the first with my custom psvita gravity rush edition and the second, I wanna get the original soundtrack tho, we gotta support and show sony it is a good game

Gravity Rush will always be one of my most favorite game series of a time. The art style, background scenery, music, combat gameplay and even the characters and storyline is a masterpiece. More people need to get into Gravity Rush. One of of the best game series I ever played.

It was designed for the PS Vita i believe and they rushed the people working on the game to meet the deadline which was cut. Another reason was the hardware limitation, so they could not put everything they wanted into the first game, so after cutting a lot out of the game Sony, had given up with it and decided to release it with a poor trailer, it was only until they remastered it to the Ps4 (i don't know the reason why but i'm grateful) that it got a lot of downloads and views which allowed for the second game to become a proper game with everything the developers could not fit into the first game, such as the banga settlement which was meant to be in the end of the first game (i believe it's the name). This is from what i watched on a video which explained it much better
So many people aren't interested in what art can offer them, only have eyes for elaborate graphics or huge game content. And forget to offer themselves the experience of a captivating, refreshing and immersive creation. Otherwise, the launch of Gravity Rush 2 would have been a success and other inspiring adventures of this franchise might have been born. Anyway, a film is in production, directed by Playstation production.
I know its too late, i hope you can still support them by buying the artbook, comic books, audio cd, figurines and games I got all except for Ps4 GR remastered

But I’m glad I bought it because like you said it is a masterpiece ❤️
