    In this age of digital micro-perfection, it´s really inspiring to see the way you embrace chance as you mix this great piece of music live and on the fly. Also, the fact that this was take 25 is a testament to the focus and dedication that goes into becoming a true master. Much respect from Mexico.

    mixing on nthe fly is like a freestyle. Let the unknown in your mind create it without thinking it.
    I like both styles of creation!

    This is awesome! Ever hear of Jim the Boss? Dub guy in US. He did this Dub Blueprints on his channel last year. Shows the band playing, then how it's dubbed and some history about the music. Had a king tubby filter too

      What's not to understand? It's pretty straightforward. I could understand if you don't understand some of the terminology though. This is basically a tutorial for people who understand the basics of recording and how to use effects and mix on a desk.

      @@danielwilson6529 That it's 'real-time' remixing using effects loops... that it's using the mixer itself as an instrument to modify the song's arrangement as a performance. That no two 'dubs' will ever be precisely the same or identical... the music is in the moment.

    Sometimes if the gain is set just high enough, but not too high, you can create feedback by just turning up the gains on the eq. You don't even need to have a sound playing into the delay for it to happen. Sometimes that can be very useful :)

      You should consider digging into the work of Deepchord. He's the starting point if you wanna get into Dubtechno.
      Try starting with this tune: DeepChord - Untitled (DC-11 A side) and if you enjoy it try checking out the Dub Monitor youtube channel. He's the best educational resource on youtube for this sort of stuff.

      Same here, I do ambient techno and have always played the mixer sends and improvised my own stems. The only difference is I don't have rasta vocals or guitars.
