Hey, guys. Kevin here with etrailer. And today, I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Furrion Vision S side marker cameras here on our 2022 Jayco Eagle HT 5th wheel trailer. All right, so right now, I have it in view all mode. As you can see, we have our rear camera in place. We have our left and our right so this is our driver's side and our passenger side.
If I want, I can click on a specific one. So right now, I'm on our driver's side. So, I just wanna go over the installation just a little bit before because this is the first time I'm seeing they're actually prepping the side markers now as well. So, all you have to do is remove this blank and pop in your camera itself. You don't have to do the full install.
If you're watching this and you don't have that, you are gonna have to do a little bit of wiring. So, we'll take a quick look at our wiring right here and we'll go over exactly what you need to do. So, on the LED versions, you're gonna have a four-wire harness right here. You're gonna have your trigger signal. That is gonna go to your left and right turn signals.
You'll have a ground. You'll have your V Plus camera, which is your hot wire to your running light circuit. And then also your traffic lamp, which is also V Plus so that is going to be tied in together with your V Plus camera to that hot wire for your running light circuit. So, you can easily splice those two together, put them up to the positive for your marker light and then the ground to your neutral on that. And then if you don't have a left and right turn signal wire running there, then you can just cap that off.
It's not totally needed. It's just not gonna flash whenever you're doing your left or your right turn signals. It's only gonna function as a running light instead. So, I popped off my cover. This is my driver's side here. The camera's gonna be facing out towards the back. And I'm just gonna go ahead and pop out these two screws right here and it's gonna release our camera from the light. These screws are real small. Make sure that you're real careful. You don't wanna lose these. And once those are out, we can just slip our camera out and we'll set this back to the side. Definitely hold onto that if you are already having the prepped one just in case. You never know, you may hit a rock or something someday and it'll pop that. We'll do the same thing. We'll just take out these screws. It looks like whoever installed this just used some random screws. So, I'm gonna go ahead and reuse the screws that we had on our other camera. And we've got a little bit of sealant going around here so I'm gonna cut just our blank portion off. So, I just took my knife and I scored around the sealant a bit. I'm gonna just stick a plastic trim panel tool in and kind of break that up just a bit more. And now we have our blank free, we can pull that off. This screw right here is gonna stick out too far. So, they definitely used just some random screws they had laying around so we will wanna remove that. And then we can go ahead and just kind of clean up all this sealant that's right here. I've got that cleaned off and I kinda went around with some alcohol and just wiped it down too. But we can go ahead and slip our camera in and I'm gonna use those screws that we took out originally from our camera. We can slip that in. Get that tightened down. And then we can go ahead and just pop on our light cover. And we can repeat the same process over on the other side. Now that we got both sides done, I'm gonna come back and just kinda seal it up. Now, there is a gasket kind of covering all the wiring and stuff but I'm just gonna go the extra mile and kind of trace around this with some gasket maker. So, the camera's gonna be running off of our running lights. So, when we hook into our tow vehicle and we turn our running lights on, you'll see this little light at the bottom turn on blue. And then if you're having any issues pairing, it should typically just immediately pair. But if you are having issues, what you'll do is you'll just hold this little button right here and you will have to kind of press in pretty hard on it. Furrion has noted that. That is a pretty common thing so don't feel like you're doing it too rough when you're doing it. Now, to pair with your cameras, if you're having any issues with them

the triger wire does hook to the turn signal so when you turn on the turnsignal it trigers the monitor to pull up that camera automaticly

If your trailer is prepped for furrion marker cameras you dont need to do all this! Simply remove the lens cover, unscrew 2 screws holding the blank, remove it and insert the camera.
