Gary Moore was one of the greatest guitar players ever and his songs are incredibly emotional. He could transfer those emotions to his guitar playing like no one else. Tommy replicates that with his guitar playing amazingly well, his feeling for Gary's songs is impeccable. He is not doing covers of Gary's songs, these are clearly tributes to his biggest idol. Tommy's tributes to Gary Moore are the best I've heard
I don't know who you are, but *you* know who Tommy is! And in the way you talk about him. I almost fell in love - in your wordings, isn't it beautiful! Bless you, from Sweden!
Excellent cover and tribute by Tommy no doubt, but you should also check out (possibly) Gary's biggest fan who does an Impeccably awesome live performance of the same masterpiece - Billy Merziotis ruclips.net/video/2EuF5l0I3u4/видео.html
Tommy is one of Sweden's most valuable "treasures"… no…he is sharing the 1st place with ”ABBA” We Swedes love Tommy and respect his talent so much! He is simply remarkably amazing…well actually there are no words that can describe how good he is… the BEST…! I BOW…!🙌🏻🥰🤗❤️
Another awesome cover by Tommy, who can truly do it all, great bass tone and fabulous solo. Loved his cover of Gary's "Over the Hills and far Away." Tommy does use a drum machine, but only because he cannot fit a kit in his apartment, but he does program it. He does everything, including mixing and editing, except filming, which his girlfriend takes care of. Great reaction, stay safe, God Bless, keep rocking.
Yes his programming the drum .. he could play it ( been a drummer in two bands previous) but he creates his covers in his small apartment and he have said that he doesn’t have the space for drums .. hence the digital drums.
Such a great tribute from Tommy to Gary. Sorry to hear about the hurricane victims, good idea from Terry, donating the guitar. Nice patches on your jacket Animal. And I see you “stole “ Tomakazi’s cap Crissy. 😉Looking good 👍
FYI...this redition was based on Gary Moore's live performance in Sweden in 1987, right down to the bass solo as done by Bob Daisley. If you want a truly incredible cover (as if they ALL aren't), give a reaction to his impression of Sebastian Bach and Skid Row's classic "18 And Life": ruclips.net/video/ijvOkoAQqzM/видео.html
the men can see that they know the parts by their faces, they know how it should sound, and the woman’s reaction seems to have heard it 10 times before and after with a minimum of emotions.
Gary is Tommy's favorite and hav been sense he was 9 years old. He also own one of Gary's white original Guitar. Tommy is start climbing as a artist in sweden and all over The world right now. He just quit as a guitarist in The band Sabaton just for chase hus dream..
Long live the great Gary Moore. Tremendous cover.

That was the 1st Tommy song I heard, and I still love it every time, a musical fete!
Fun fact, original version of the song has drum machine too! So nothing to be ashamed, if it was ok for Gary then should be ok for everyone.
Amazing Tommy❤ loved your reaction ❤ thank you.

Hello oldi fellows i Agree! take care!
Tommy play drums but he does all this in his living room so he don't have room for drums so he have to use the 2nd best.
Tommy was born 38 years too late - he should have been the age he is now in the mid 1980’s, 😀
Then, we would've missed him these days, with only old recordings, with the inscription: R.I.P.
Whee can I buy the dvds of Tommy Johansson
