I’ve been saying that for years. Using animation cuts the limitations that using stock footage brings. They could easily do a animated Power Rangers war. Or Shattered Grid

It's also one of the few action shows still left on regular tv that is still enduring.

Same here. The 2017 film hardly got any acknowledgement. I'm sick and tired of how the show has been handled as a so called "goofy kids show".

I really like the way they keep tweaking the Green Ranger suit, adding some modern flair. Hopefully the new Ranger's identity will be something unexpected.

Dragon was iin the background being taken apart. I'm pretty sure it's gonna get tweaked. Cause he wouldn't stand a chance fighting Zedd's super powered Monsters with that old Zord
@@JSmoothSoul for the record I hope it does get tweaked and looks awesome but the Dragonzord at full power in the show not only fought against some of Zedd's monsters and held its own as well as any thunderzord while Jason had the Green coin but in return of the green ranger when "Tom" (Tommy's clone made by the Wizard of Deception) fought the white ranger the dragonzord bodied the Tigerzord in Warrior mode in 1 shot so.....its honestly debatable how strong Dragonzord would be compared to Zedd's monsters.....

It’s pretty obvious WHO the Green Ranger is.
The prologue starts with a certain someone being revealed as an expert fighter.
Then in the present day, he starts feeling nostalgic about being free and tries to bro out with Billy.
Finally, when Tommy says, “Come meet Zordon” and then the Green Ranger disappears, huge hints everywhere.
Zordon is the Green Ranger.

My theory is that the new Green Ranger is Jason, coming full circle.
That was my thought as well.
That would be something maybe to cool for them to do... It makes to much sense that they will not do it...
Probably not, at this point Jason should still be Omega Red, unlikely he would drop that and become the Green Ranger without Zordon knowing.
Jason is a Omega Ranger out in Space, and as of power Rangers #1 he is on Zordon's most wanted list. I mean he went completely OFF on Jason for doing something i',m not gonna Spoil

Love reading the comics , already have scooped up Mighty Morphin # 1 , and Power Rangers # 1, and can't wait for the rest of the series to hit the stands. No matter how old or young , these are fun to read and I agree with some of the other's this would be an awesome animated series, and could cover a lot of history and tell some interesting stories in that medium.
I've been paying loose attention to the power rangers comics, but i feel like i need to go back and read it all now.
You should do an origin episode for Kang The Conquerer. I think that would be awesome.

Sure, but to do that they'd have to give Jason an actual personality beyond high school jock goodie good. Or just make the Boom continuity canon since Boom succeeded in making Jason a good character.
@@Drums_of_Liberation well we have to blame the the entertainment industry in the America for that, they want the same typical stereotypical crap and are too busy to push this equality to promote their brands(with lazy writing). Jason should leave and let Tommy be the leader for a certain amount of time, and later bring in that omega ranger outfit and comeback as the true leader again. They just make Tommy leader and look op'd because he been there the longest and most people know who seen the show that Jason whoped Tommy's ass in many occasions.

The Power Rangers comic has been blessing for me personally. I loved the show to death as a kid, but as an adult the show just doesn't hold up for me...even with all of the nostalgia tied to it.
The comics got me to love the franchise again because it's JUST mature enough without being too dark while also retaining the goofy charm of the show.
For anybody who loved the series as a kid, but just can't find that magic again as an adult - you need to read these comics.
well said. But you should probably check out some of the late 90s and 2000s series. They actually still hold up and are much more Mature then even the new stuff. Time Force Lost Galaxy SPD RPM are a few you should check out

it's not. Drakkon is in the Power Rangers book with the Omega Rangers out in Space. Green is either Violet Matt or Candace.

Power Rangers would be as big as Marvel. The 2017 movie thought it was Breakfast Club. People want Epic action and dynamic storytelling.

Jason is the Omega Red Ranger. He is part of a space type team now.
I would completely get behind all of this, if it wasn’t for the internet-fan-style. If not for the old Ranger rule of wearing their colors in civilian clothes, the art barely has distinguishing features for each Ranger to tell them a part.

This new green ranger looks like the green ranger v2 from legacy wars. The description said it was tommy from the future who went back in time to help the rangers. So it might be tommy but that Matt guess sounds pretty cool, especially since my name is Matthew :)

That basically IS Batinthesun's suit with a Dan Mora flair. At This point Dan Mora is as important to Power Rangers as Kyle Higgin and Ryan Parrot are. His designs are just great

I think I might have a theory on who the Green Ranger might be (just a theory). Because at the end of issue 55 it shows a glowing green container that has a Green Dagger similar to Psycho Green Dagger. Plus Zedd said that the green ranger was radiating Green Chaos Energy. So as a theory I think the new green ranger might be none other than the Green Psycho Ranger himself Trek. But like I said just a theory.

For those unaware, Drakkon is now off witht he Omega RAngers in the other Rangers book, so it clearly ain't him. That will be his chance at redemption. He was likely just used as the source of power for the current Green Ranger.

Going to give my speculation. The new green ranger is probably lord drakkon (AKA Tommy). Even if not he's for sure going to be playing a role in the new series (given that his face is on the cover of mighty morphin issue 1)
