There is also a another way to change VLAN and for that you don't need any specialized device or software just connect the Ethernet cable to a device like desktop or computer and open command prompt type ipconfig /all and copy the MAC Address then telnet/ssh your company switch and Type It will show you the port no from which the MAC address is receiving and Type an another command show cdp neighbor and check on which port or switch the device is connected the rest you already know.
I have not seen any YT video showing what the linksprinter can do while it is connected to a cell phone app. Would you be able to do a video for that? thanks!
Hi I like your videos. I'm a RN and wanting to career switch into tech. Do you think getting the comptia A plus is good enough to make the switch? or should I also get the Net+ and Sec+ certs too?
Hey! Thanks and I'm glad you liked the videos. hhmm it depends on what your background is in Computer. I think for entry level A+ would be good if you also do home labs that can give you hands-on experience and can also add to your resume. But it also doesn't hurt if you want to get the Net and Sec. You might have more advantage to other applicants if you have more knowledge but it also depends on the role you're applying for. If it's desktop tech for example, that role really doesn't require a lot of networking.
please make a video on how to configure Cisco switch on an existing network Example there are already 3 switches and router installed in a building with all the Vlans and voip already configured and you have to add 4th switch to the network.
If after ba palitan ung switchport from vlan 3 to 2 same pa dn ba ung ipadress nun?.let say nkaasign na sa printer ung ip adress na un as static@@EastCharmer

Hi, your videos are good. i new to the networking line. may i know what the command to see open/close ports? command to open and close port? thanks
Thank you! hhmm ok can you specify what kind of ports? Is it switchports? firewall ports?
@@EastCharmer its a cisco switch. i wanna see which ports are open or close. and also to see if traffic flows thru the ports. thanks
Just curious did the IP addresses stay the same after the change? For that port Vlan 3 to Vlan 2...Does this apply for all switches or just cisco
hhmmm can you please elaborate some more? I'm not sure what you mean
