Thanks for sharing. I've also been working as IT supports for over 8 years. Recently, I've been transferred to a new position as a network administrator. I'm starting to re-learn CCNA.
Thank You East Charmer for Sharing... lots of valuable info here, so much to take in one view, gonna have to rewatch several times which is not a bad thing. your videos are so knowledgeable.
Thanks for another excellent tutorial! Clear and easy to follow along with you and your screen recording. I like how you fast forward through some parts which allows me to pause, or use x0.25 speed as a reminder if needed. I did encounter one issue after using the command 'switchport mode trunk' -- the interface came up, and after a few seconds it went down again and stayed down. Some searching suggested I try the comment 'no shutdown' on the interface which brought it back up and seemed to work. I doubled checked everything and still don't know if it was something I did that caused it. Thanks again!
You're very welcome!! I'm glad you were able to follow through the video! Yes I thought it would be better to fast forward configuring vlans and access ports because it was already discussed in the previous video. Hhhmmm I know that you could put the interface down with the shutdown command deliberately, but not sure if that's what happened to you. Also when you're configuring trunk ports, I think it will put the other port's interface down if it doesn't match the port mode. But good job on figuring it out!! And you learned about no shut now! 👍
thank you for your videos, you're very didactic! I'm learning a lot with you! I'm begging in it nerworking and would be difficult without your explanations! There's other channel that i usually watch a teoric video approach , thats called PowerCert animated videos, but its been along since i dont get out of your channel! send you best regards! Ciao! 😉😊
Thank you so much for the very nice feedback! I really appreciate it! I am so glad that you're learning from the videos. Ah I think I've watched PowerCert vids before when I was studying CCNA. Great channel as well! Best regard to you as well!
Hello! you're very welcome!! I actually sped up and skipped creating vlans and assigning them because I already taught that in another video. And yeah I can do a subnetting video too! I've already made a VLSM video too if you're interested.
Hello, I don't know, but /24 never will ping another /24, if no gateway added regardless of VLANs. In your scenario maybe /22 would be valid. May I'm wrong?
Hello! Yes you can download packet tracer for free . You just have to make a cisco account to download on the cisco portal. I have a video that shows how and where to download

@@EastCharmer thanks buddy!!! I will watch VLSM...
what is the main aim of trunk, doesn't it ensure that different vlan should able to communicate
Yes. A trunk carries multiple vlans
