Thanks for the great tutorial. I'm returning to IT after a break and need to update my skills, and found your tutorial clear and easy to follow along with.
you're very welcome!! Welcome back to IT! Networking is very important skill in IT. I also made a tutorial about trunk ports and will also upload more Layer 2 Packet tutorial videos soon!
Great tutorial. I'm brand new to this and this was easy to follow and nice introduction to this program and vlan creation. Keep up the great content. Something of note though; around the 10:10 min mark we can hear your voice echoing/repeating through the recording.
Thanks! I'm glad you were able to follow along. I was nervous that the video was too long but I wanted to include everything and be intensive. Will definitely post more switch lab tutorials like this. Oh thanks . I'll check on it and make sure it doesn't happen again.
@@EastCharmer Video length doesn't matter as long as the content is good. You can utilize the "Chapters" feature in youtube videos to makeit easier for people to jump to different sections as well.
Nice video., Hi kabayan, can you give little brief of the setup of your system and network on your company.. like what are the OS running on your VM's as a server and what are the network hardware you use on your setup like firewall, switch and router.. Maybe on upcoming video tutorial.. all your tutorials are really a real life scenario as i.t support.. your content will help newbie what to expect in real life..
Hello there! Kamusta? Oh that's a very good question! Yeah I can give you some of the systems that we have. I've been with 2 different industries ( hospitality, tech and broadcast) and they all have very different setup. I can give you a brief summary of what we are using: We run Windows Server and CentOS on our VMs. We really don't manage our firewall and router hardware in my current job but we use Palo Alto to manage the system. Our switch in the building is Cisco Catalyst 9300 UPoe. Yeah it's a good idea to talk about the systems and tech that we use at work and will definitely make a video about it. Glad you like the content and more to come!
Hi, but how do you remove a vlan from a interface /switchport).
Hi there, great question. Just run the command " no vlan (vlan-id)" on the interface. I should've included this on the video

hello po ate :)
Hello!
How do you have a mic like that an audio quality that sounds like you are in a tunnel?
Not sure if it's the mic or my obs settings. It sounds smooth in my other software.
