Do not make this mistake with your rhubarb!!

Rhubarb season is in full effect - so don’t make the mistake I did and use an old stalk! Once they get those little air pockets it’s a sign that they’re going to be tough. You’ll be so disappointed taking all the time to bake and then the rhubarb is woody

I worked so hard to get my rhubarb to grow, I've been afraid to harvest the stalks! Something I see with my rhubarb is the stalks don't turn dark red, some stay greenish even when large. I'm up to 4 plants, I'mm so excited!!! Two of my plants are from an abandoned rhubarb farm in puyallup. It was under development into a wedding venue and I had the chance to salvage some 🎉
