    Out of curiosity, with so many sources who do lube the pad ears/slides on the caliper are you thinking it attracts more dirt causing problems? Or is it something else? Thanks I do enjoy watching the impala videos as I own one myself.

      In my opinion, yes, the grease attracts dirt and debris and gums things up. When the clips are new, they are chrome plated or Teflon coated, which is a clean low-friction surface, and no grease is required.

      I purchase pads from Napa. I usually get “StopRight” pads, but this time I got “SilentGuard” pads in this video.
      There will definitely be more car repair videos in the future.

    Check engine light is on. I bet you need a new catalytic converter.
