Hi Wendy, I tried your recipe and method yesterday, it was a huge success, the cake came out moist, fluffy and very yummy. Present for my mum for CNY. I am sure she will love it. I tried many recipe and method before like seperate beating the yolk and butter but in the end it was more difficult to handle and butter melted easily. I haven't tried yet.. might need to replace part of the milk powder with some cocoa powder. Add on abit more sugar to tackle the bitterness of cocoa powder

Temperature can it be lower like 180 as 230 i tink is too high too dark

我的做法是,第一层上下火,第二层到最后一层,只用上火,老师的温度太高了,大烤箱用180-190°c就好,就不会造成表面起泡再烤焦。

Traditional recipe mix margerine with wijsman Dutch butter.
