LURE FISHING on the GRAND UNION CANAL

- Eyup all today we head off #lure #fishing on #grand #union #canal . As a complete novice to fishing canals we expected a BIG PHAT BLANK but surprisingly actually get one of our target species ( might have been small but they all count ) . We tried various methods of lure fishing but eventually get a pike on a small dead baited roach on the sink and draw method , it might have been a tiddler but I was totally made up catching it because it was my first canal #pike . I lost a couple of lures along the way up trees and on big snags on the bottom but we learnt loads .
Big up to the boys at Snagged Bro coz I gleaned most of my info from there channel , PLS go check em out as there very funny and catch a fair few fish ... well apart from Barble eh TOM!!!

Hey man luv your videos, im 17 and your vidoes have got me into fishing, mainly saltwater i was wondering if you could help me i saw you video on lure fishing for bass on the river arun and now i really wanna catch bass on a lure but i dont know if i need a rod licence to fish that bit of the river arun could you please help me out cuz i do maily saltwater fishing i dont really understand much about rod licenes could i also get some tips on lure fishing for bass cuz tried a buch around sussex and havent caught anything and really doing my head in.

Hiya buddy thanks for your lovely comments - it really means a lot knowing i'm helping out a bit. Fishing licences are NOT REQUIRED on rivers up to there demarcation line - on the Arun it is the Old Town Bridge in the middle of Arundel , so anywhere from there to the sea a licence is NOT required . There are also the same lines on the Adur in Shoreham - think its the bridge at the old cement works and on the Ouse at Newhaven I think its the bridge for the A27. This time of year is not really the best for Bass lure fishing up the rivers as they are few and far between and the water is cold . We tend to start feeling around again when it starts warming up around March / April. Hope this helps and good luck with your future fishing.
