Watched this playlist so many times over the past 3 years and a few months ago my friend and I finished our own hard tail shadow bobber!! Keep up the good work.
Dan I used to watch your videos every time you uploaded a new one and you gave me the courage to buy and ride my first motorcycle which is a Honda cbr 600rr. I haven’t watched any of your videos from the last year and a half and I’m now selling the bike. I stopped watching cause high school and work got in the way but now I’m done with school and just focus on work. I watched one video today and now I’m buying a shadow phantom. You got me to buy a bike when I was 16 and now I’m 19 and buying a big boys bike cause of you. Thank you
Dan I love watching your videos and I’ll keep watching cause your such a nice guy and plus you reference idubbbz which is great. Keep up the amazing work dude I need to back track and watch all your videos again!!
Man this is freaking awesome. You're building this bike because you want too. Even after all the crap with the Harley build. You decided to not let that keep you done and to start wrenching on a bike again. I just think it's a good way to show that keep hoping back on the horse because this is something you want to do not because others want you to do it. Hope the build turns out a sweet as it seems in the planning.
Dude you're one of my inspirations to keep riding motorcycle. I was rear ended on Monday, July 2 when I was riding my new bike and the guy who hit me fucking ran. Most people would be scared to keep riding, but you keep me going man. I love your vids and I can't wait to see more of this build!
Holy shit dude. Haven't seen you vids in like 2-3 years. Then i seen you made vids with John. I ended up getting an f4i and kept if for almost 2 years. All my friends wrecked and i live in az and its crazy hot here. Watching your channel again brings back good memories and i have to get another bike again. My wife is going to kill me. :)
I was worried when I saw the title that you'd just be throwing on the Blue Collar Bobbers kit like I did... but nope! You're doing it from scratch. Mad props man, love the rare fabrication vids.
I appreciate how in depth you are, it must have taken some time to get the right camera angles for each thing you done. I miss minimal effort btw. So if you could bring that back, that'd be great
I used a BCB kit on the first bike I ever bobbed and haven't since. I build alot of smaller bikes though, most of my builds are 125CC-500CC and they don't make those kits. I'm building a 125 Hysong GTR now and I'm doing alot of custom things to it, I'm not just bobbing it but I'm bending the hoop up around the fender to the end of the rear fender to mount the taillight and rear turn signals too. I got it for a song and it's a "cheap Chinese P.O.S." so I gotta do something to make it stand out.
Thanks for doing this. The shadow is such a widely sought out cruiser nowadays. I would love to be able to ride a shadow in the near future and this video definintely will be used when I get around to modding it.
It's so awesome to watch you do this because I have been wanting to make my 2007 Honda shadow 600 into a bobber for a while now, so this will almost be like a "how to" haha.
Awesome videos dude!!!! Been watching them for like a month now, still not bored. I'm from Europe, my big dream is to bring my bike to US on vacation for like a month and ride as much as i can and also visit Georgia haha
Dan with all of these videos... can't keep up!😂 i love it man. Thank you so so much. I appreciate the work you put into these vids and I know im not the only one. Thank you Dan!
OMG I stumbled on this ! I just got told (well this summer actually) I can have a running Kawasucky 750 to do anything I want with it from a chick. Granted, it is Hers and will be Hers but I can do anything I want, and this is exactly what I was envisioning (so far). I told Her low chopper (long forks) and She is cool with it !!! I'm just excited because I always have to do what the owner wants and this will be My first DO WHAT I WANT BUILD !!!
Not to go on a nut huggin mission ... but this is HANDS DOWN the best most in-depth shadow bobber build I’ve ever seen !!!! *subscribed* & I’m curious .... if I watch FULL AD does it generate more income vs the skipping the ad the second I can I’ll watch all ads to their fullest extent if it supports you
I know you get a lot of comments about the Harley and that will be hard to get back on the road. but for drag racing you don’t need a title or registration or anything like that and I think it would be pretty cool to see a drag bike build on the channel. Also I love the videos keep up the great work
Very cool man! I've just finished building a vulcan 800 bobber, but we have a shadow standing ready for the next build! Subcribed en will follow your work!
Subscribed cause I've got a shadow and want to do just this very thing. Great video production work too. Only suggestion is to strap that bike down when you're working on the lift. It looks kinda wobbly. Keep up the great work!
Awesome stuff dude. Everytime I watch you do this stuff I get a little closer to buying one. Have you ever thought about learning how to/getting equipment for coating? In two videos (break down and coating) you could show almost half the process of bobbing without needing to out source work (and content)
As someone who builds Bobbers and Brats out of my own shop I never have anything powder coated. It takes too long, it's not cost effective and it doesn't yield any better results than paint does, plus if I scratch my frame putting my tank or seat on I cant just touch it up the powder coat was as I can with paint, I can feather the scratches out and grab my pain gun and touch it up, with powder coat if I scratch it up I have tear it back apart and have it recoated. I have had rims powder coated and that wasn't too bad but still not worth it monetarily IMO because the quality of paint, even rattlecan paint has gotten so much better over the past 10-20 years.
You can do it..... It's really not that hard. you just gotta remember to either hoop the back of the frame or seal it up somehow. I like hooping the end of my frame because it gives me somewhere to bolt the fender to. I'll hoop them and then run the bolts though the hoops as a second mount for my fender, 2 in the frame and 2 in the hoop. and that's all you need.
Everything looks awesome man just make sure you're enjoying it, don't worry about us nosey people! Also, it'd be cool to do one of those clear crankcase covers or something like that. Depending on if you're gonna do the engine black of course. 😂👍👍👍
I'm doing a Military inspired Bobber build now and using a yellow lens headlight. Mines a 68 Royal Enfield Interceptor that was used by the RAAF (Austrian Royal Air Force) , I have no idea how it ended up here in the U.S. but I lucked into it and bought it for next to nothing at a bike auction, it even came with the paperwork and pictures showing it was used by the RAAF. It didn't run when I bought it and there's so much missing that I decided to just bob it and make it a military inspired bike because finding the correct parts to get it back to military specs would cost an arm and a leg and I'm not sure if it's possible.
I just picked up a 1992 shadow 1100 with title for $300. Definetly needs some love but it will be a fun project. I want to do a similar bobber build but for now ill just freshen it up and get it on the road again.
I really think its gonna look good. Nice how you mocked it up. I cringed every time you cut that wiring harness though. I know you will be doing a new tail light and blinkers though. It would be a cool mod to use one of the old school tail lights off of one of the original harley army bikes too. You know the one that actually has printed "Stop ".Random thoughts. Glad you are going thick whitewalls. Its gonna be dope.
How are you liking this series so far? Music? Speed? Length?
Do It With Dan such a great quality vid, right length too! And so soon after the exhaust install vid 😂
Loving everything about the series so far!
Loving the series! Sport bike build next?!
It's awesome.
Maybe include a poll in every episode? I know it'd be hard but it's fun to vote
Watched this playlist so many times over the past 3 years and a few months ago my friend and I finished our own hard tail shadow bobber!! Keep up the good work.
When I see you using a tool while holding a camera all i can think about is Julian from TPB holding his drink while working on his car lol
shadetree surgeon hahahaha
Feel ya 😂

Hey man don't worry about me! My videos will be here if you wanna watch em. Congrats on getting a new bike! :D ride safe
Dan I love watching your videos and I’ll keep watching cause your such a nice guy and plus you reference idubbbz which is great. Keep up the amazing work dude I need to back track and watch all your videos again!!

Literally the best diwd vid since the yammi noob debacle
So pumped to join you through another build Dan. Cant wait to see the end result!
Dan, you made me want to start riding for the longest time. Hopefully one day I'll be able to have my own bike.

This build series already looks a lot better and more professional than your other ones. I really like it. Keep up the work Dan!
I don't know if anyone has mention this Dan, but tj brutal customs has some great stuff for Honda shadow 600s. Looks awesome so far, keep it up!

I was worried when I saw the title that you'd just be throwing on the Blue Collar Bobbers kit like I did... but nope! You're doing it from scratch. Mad props man, love the rare fabrication vids.
Iv had a marauder projector about 6-12 month now haven’t started it yet but this is giving me motivation to start doing it now so thanks
Diwd I think this will be ur best , cleanest project yet!! Cant wait to see final brother!!
I appreciate how in depth you are, it must have taken some time to get the right camera angles for each thing you done.
I miss minimal effort btw. So if you could bring that back, that'd be great
You make it look so easy Dan.
I bobbed my 2005 shadow about a year ago with a blue collar bobber kit. Love the bike
I love the idea of the next build being red. I can't wait for the next video on this build.
So glad you are doing this series!
Thanks for doing this. The shadow is such a widely sought out cruiser nowadays. I would love to be able to ride a shadow in the near future and this video definintely will be used when I get around to modding it.
That green is going to look so dope! I can't wait to see it!
It's so awesome to watch you do this because I have been wanting to make my 2007 Honda shadow 600 into a bobber for a while now, so this will almost be like a "how to" haha.
Camo green is going to look dope af
Loved this episode. It's nice to see a different bike being built
Finally a video that fits perfectly to my screen!
Awesome videos dude!!!!
Been watching them for like a month now, still not bored.

Damn, Dan has been busting out videos and I’m not upset about it lol.
Subscribed cause I've got a shadow and want to do just this very thing. Great video production work too. Only suggestion is to strap that bike down when you're working on the lift. It looks kinda wobbly. Keep up the great work!

Hell yeah this build is going to be awsome great job Dan👍👍👍👍
Yes Dan!! Been looking forward to this and you didnt disappoint! Thanks man 👌🔥❤
Bomber-camo style with flat green would be dope AF DoItWithDownsy.
I'm so glad you're making this, I planned on doing it myself XD
Every time I watch these build I’m like “Yeah I can do that.” Then he starts chopping shit off.
You can do it..... It's really not that hard. you just gotta remember to either hoop the back of the frame or seal it up somehow. I think a military theme would be nice for that bike, like the green with stars and stuff
Everything looks awesome man just make sure you're enjoying it, don't worry about us nosey people! Also, it'd be cool to do one of those clear crankcase covers or something like that. Depending on if you're gonna do the engine black of course. 😂👍👍👍
Dan, I think that you should get a yellowed out lens for the headlight. I think it would give it that old millitary look along with the matte green
Great video series man it has inspired us to do something similar thanks again.
That bike is going to be so fucking awesome and I'm a Yamaha guy ................... keep up the great work Dan .
Should get a vulcan 900 bro, rides nice as hell and looks awesome bobbed out
I just picked up a 1992 shadow 1100 with title for $300. Definetly needs some love but it will be a fun project. I want to do a similar bobber build but for now ill just freshen it up and get it on the road again.
all you need is at tj brutal customs man!! one stop shop for everything honda shadow
this series is awesome its perfect man keep going I wished u come down to fl and have like a meet or something but this bobber build is awesome
that thin fender actualy looks badass with how low to the tire and how tight it hugs it. i fuck with that look
When the bike is finished and the color is green, u should put heat tape around the pipes, would fit nice!
I love the white walls
I really think its gonna look good. Nice how you mocked it up. I cringed every time you cut that wiring harness though. I know you will be doing a new tail light and blinkers though. It would be a cool mod to use one of the old school tail lights off of one of the original harley army bikes too. You know the one that actually has printed "Stop ".Random thoughts. Rigid Industries Retrofit Round Headlight! Black housing on it would blend so well!
TJ Brutal customs sells an awesome peanut tank for this bike. I have one on my bike and it looks sick.
motohead 7465 Dan is allergic to peanuts
Hay Dan you should put a white star on the tank. Maybe get a gatling gun exhaust tip.
I really like this series. Have you ever considered doing a springer front end for the bobber?
can’t wait for more 🤘🏼
Love this! Gives me ideas for my Phantom
Seriously it looks great man. Ball busting asside, will you be able to see over the handlebars that low?
Excited for this.
I always love to see you wear a Sub D shirt super cool
