Las Golondrinas House, designed by PPAA Pérez Palacios Associate Architects, is a retirement home located in Peña Blanca, Valle de Bravo, State of México. The house is strategically positioned in the upper part of a plot to preserve the surrounding nature and provide stunning mountain views. It is designed to offer disconnection and rest for a large family and their guests, prioritizing privacy and scenic views. The house consists of three independent volumes under a large sloping roof, creating a covered terrace for social activities. Each volume serves a specific function: one for bedrooms, another for social spaces, and the third for the kitchen and services. These areas are connected by covered and semi-open corridors, which also act as intermediary spaces between the interior and exterior. The design harmonizes modern aesthetics with natural surroundings, making it an ideal example of an eco-friendly and functional retreat.
