Dear MeMe... This is the best pie!!! Had it for lunch today. I baked it on the bottom shelf and the crust was crisp on the bottom, perfect. You have been such a blessing to me. I made 10 freezer meals yesterday and 3 of those were your kraft Mac and cheese and your chocolate cobbler. Next is the bread pudding. Asking for your cookbook for Christmas. ❤

This pie looks delicious! My mother always made our fudge out of the recipe on the back of the Hershey Coco can. I am 72 and to this day it’s my favorite fudge!

Spectacular fresh cranberry relish:
Using a food processor with a sharp cutting blade, open a full bag of fresh whole uncooked cranberries, (picked thru for stems)
Pour into food processor,
Add 1 whole naval 🍊 orange, skin and pith, cut into 4 pieces,
Then add one cup of regular granulated sugar.
Turn on food processor to cut and blend everything well.
Now you have a well mixed fuschia cranberry relish.
Put it in a beautiful clear glass or cut glass dish (make 2 dishes full) one for each end of the table.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator.
When ready to serve, remove plastic and put a pretty spoon in the relish.
Holiday meals are orange green and brown.
This delicious relish is beautiful, cold and so tasty.
You can spread it on bread for leftover turkey or ham sandwiches.

I am curious about your baking on the bottom shelves. I’ve always used the top shelf for broiling (gas oven) and next two for baking. I guess my family didn’t use the bottom shelves often. But I’ll give it a try.

Hi Meme. I’m kinda new to watching your videos 😀. You make this fun! Thanks. Well I did this fudge pie. I usually make chocolate pie. Basically same thing. The recipe I use if from the movie The help. However that pie uses no flour but 3/4 cup of evaporated milk. Everything else is pretty much the same. I did yours last night. It does taste good. However my mix at the end before putting it into the pie crust wasn’t as liquified as yours looks in video. Mine was more pasty. Not as runny. Was more thick. I wonder why cause I followed yours exactly. The one you make the batter looks just like the one I make from the helps recipe but you didn’t put in evaporated milk. Nevertheless it was good. Would you ever consider trying to do the recipe from the help? I think it’s called Minnie’s chocolate pie. Great film. Hope you’ve seen it. Came out in 2012 I believe. Thanks so much. My parents left cuba when I was little just my dad mom and brother. I didn’t grow up with my grandparents 😢. I sure wish I did. Joey. Lakeland Florida

I finally got around to making this fudge pie today and it's very good! So far I've made your fruitcake cookies, hamburger casserole, apple cake, strawberry pie, peach cobbler, wild rice and chicken casserole, coconut cream pie, chicken noodle casserole, pork chops and rice and going to make mazetti tomorrow - also want to take crack at making those chocolate chip cookies of yours! My wife is not able to cook any longer so I've taken it up, so she's really glad I found your channel and told me to send you her thanks - lol!!

I love watching you prepare your special southern dishes. I'm born and raised in California which I love. However your sweet southern personality makes your shows SO VERY special and interesting to watch you always make me SMILE😁 and shine for Jesus! At 81 your family is blessed to have YOU in their lives, and I really mean that!!! You do so much for everyone. You cook a feast every Sunday and probably other days too for them! My Grandmother was a fabulous cook, she always used an iron skillet to make hamburgers oh my Lord they were the best! I make her Granny Smith Apple Pie from scratch all the time. Plus many other things I get requests for from my grown son. One is tuna and rice, it's super easy and he had his wife make it too. God has blessed your family with YOU! I'm so happy you're on you tube so I can watch you when ever I want, and I DO! I have never heard of making chocolate chip cookies with shortening before, however since they are such a hit with your family and millions of your friends, I'm going to try them that way, do you ever use the butter flavor Crisco? I have to have nuts in my CC Cookies walnuts or pecans or even macadamia nuts but they are expensive. Thank you again MeMe, you are a treasure to us ALL, Shine for Jesus! Young Lady 🎉❤

When I was a kid, my grandma made something similar like this, but she called it chocolate custard pie. It was my favorite. She never measured anything. It was little of this little of that it always came out good...man i miss her cooking.

Bake 325° for 40-50 min

MeMe, you surprised me. Every time I see you, I see you with a colorful blouse or sweater on, and now you are wearing a black and white blouse?? Every now and then, I guess everybody needs a change from their routine. I have this recipe already myself, but hearing how you do it (using regular pie crust instead of deep dish) shows me you can pick up tips to make what you do better. You have a very nice day, and yes it is good to reflect a Christian spirit and as you put it, "shine for Jesus."

Oh my. I made tonight and although it tastes great. I had my son pick up pie crust and it was deep dish. Took an hour to bake. You were right. You said no deep dish but that’s what I had Next time I’ll know better lol. Still tastes great though
