One factor should also be how well does the backpack stands on it own. Some backpacks like older North face can’t stand on it own when empty which means it might fall down into the dirt.
I own a 13L Able Carry in X-PAC Black. I have been using this for several weeks now. I have an iPad 11Pro and MacAir 13 inch they fit in the designated compartment. I am able to fit a 16oz Hydroflask bottle, wallet, small hand sanitizer, beats fit ear buds, chapstick, eye drops, 3 oz hand lotion, spare mask, portable charger + brick, charging cord. I also keep the Able Carry 13L rain cover just in case this weird weather gives us rain & I am on my motorcycle or moped. I like how it retains the shape & does not sag down. I utilize the daisy chains to attach Blackburn red safety lights so I am more noticeable on the road. Be safe out there everyone 😊 The shoulder straps are beefy and keep me comfy even with all the weight. Anything bigger then 25L bag feels like a duffel bag attached to my back.
Having the right size backpack is absolutely essential. If it's. Too small it doesn't fit.your body or whatever you wish to pack. My advice is lay out everything you intend to carry then find a pack that will hold everything. But leave a little bit of space for something like a sweat shirt or jacket. Having a little more space than what you think you need is better than not having enough space. Plus a pack able pack is a fantastic way to have something to say carry a few groceries or whatever in .
