    11:39 - The S9 is the same size if not slightly larger than the Micro Four Thirds Lumix options. It’s similar in size to the GX9 (S9 is bigger) and bigger than the GX80, both of which have EVFs.
    It is significantly bigger than the LX100 II and requires the Small Rig grip making it larger in Depth as well.
    The OM-5 is slightly larger than this (smaller in width), but it boasts and EVF, Phase Detect Auto Focus, Headphone Jack & Dual Dials.
    It is not “much smaller” in fact is comparable but NOT smaller.
    It isn’t weather sealed either.
    Don’t mislead people.

    • @ArberBaqaj
      @ArberBaqaj  2 месяца назад

      Youre comparing it to cameras with much smaller sensors, I never said it was the smallest camera in the world, but for a full frame camera it’s very small, and also, it has weather sealing, but Panasonic aren’t advertising it because it’s not at same level as the gh6 and s5ll

    • @leisurelypaice

      @@ArberBaqaj I didn’t compare the cameras. It was you who made the statement. That’s why I tagged the time. You said it was “much smaller” than Micro Four Third offerings from Lumix. That’s an incorrect statement to make when justifying why you like a new camera. 🤷🏽‍♂️
      It does not have any weather sealing. Lumix didn’t advertise it because it doesn’t have any.
      It might seem like I’m just being a petty viewer, I’m not. You have garnered a large following. You need to be honest with your audience and not just make vague blanket statements.
      Sure it is small for full frame, but the sacrifices made were too big. It should’ve been a MFT camera body with S9 features.

    • @jacobterrazas3147
      @jacobterrazas3147 2 месяца назад +2

      He said it was smaller than a lot, not all of their MFT cameras; and it is. It's smaller than the GH5 or GH6, it's smaller than the G9 mk1 and mkii, and it's smaller than the G85 and many other MFT Lumix cameras. Pointing out his statement of "much smaller" is misleading is a debate over semantics. This is a vlog style video, did he really need to give disclaimers about what "slightly smaller" and "much smaller" means? I've owned many MFT cameras and I would say it isn't misleading to say the S9 is "much smaller", just compare it to a GH6 and yeah, it's much smaller.
      And yes you mentioned the GX9 and the GX80 (I have the GX85 btw), and yes I would agree the S9 is bigger, but marginally, BUT I actually thought you were praising Panasonic because the fact that they crammed a full frame sensor with that kind of ibis into a body that is marginally bigger than those cameras is crazy. But I think you were pointing out the lack of an EVF when comparing it to those other cameras, ok fine, if the camera was slightly bigger it could have an EVF, valid criticism. But I don't think it's fair to say Arber was "misleading" people by saying it's smaller; and the EVF comparison you made has no bearing on if the camera is smaller than other MFT cameras, because it is.
      Side Note: I have MFT cameras, full frame cameras, I use Sony, Panasonic, and looking to get my first Fuji. I don't plan on getting the S9, doesn't fit what I'm looking for right now.

    • @leisurelypaice
      @leisurelypaice 2 месяца назад

      @@jacobterrazas3147 Sure the Compact Full Frame camera is smaller than the Flagship MFT cameras, but compact for compact it is bigger. He doesn't need to quantify "Slightly" and "much" as generally we all know those definitions. A camera built for vloggers will be compared to the MFT cameras built for vloggers i.e. G100. The community is asking for a GX9 MkII thats where the size comparisons will be made. It's like comparing a S5IIX to the LX100.... it makes no sense. GX9, GX80, LX100, GM5, GX800, GX880, GM1, LX15, G100 etc... are the cameras in which you'd argue have a similar target market.
      My main point is that the sacrifices Lumix made on the S9 to fit a Full Frame sensor into this body seems like a futile endeavour. It should've been a MFT sensor. A sensor system that needs updating in 2024!!
      Panasonic have experimented which could be praised, but the sacrifices are too large. The Sony A7C is probably a better camera to make the comparison, currently sitting at £1,299 brand new.

      @@leisurelypaice Hey I'm on board with an having an updated GX85 with LUT support and maybe a few more megapixels, I would have pre-ordered that immediately. But I'm just saying I didn't think it was fair to say he was misleading people. If he said pugs are smaller than most dogs would you still say he's misleading people because it's not a fair comparison? That he should be comparing pugs to other small breeds? It was a general statement he made, one that I would agree with regardless of whether something is "flagship" or not. Totally fine to have criticisms about the camera, I have them, but I've watched Arber for a while and I don't think he had bad intentions here.

    For me, the limitations are crippling. If you decide you want to do an in-depth interview, the recording limitations make it difficult. If you actually need flash, you can't do that. If you don't want everything in focus, there's another creative choice taken from you.
    I'd rather a lighter G series camera based off the G9 II and without those limitations. My G lenses are already light and small.

    • @ArberBaqaj
      @ArberBaqaj  2 месяца назад

      If you do interviews it’s probably not the camera for you. If you do two interviews a month the you could get by by starting and stoping the recording. Not ideal but it could be done :)

    Bro, just a slight thought process while I was watching this video.. No disrespect, honest opinion / constructive criticism.. In the first 1min of this video, there is a LOT going on lol. You opened the trunk, closed the trunk. Opened the door, went to something else. Sat in the car, took the blue camera off the dash, put it in the seat, shot the sunroof, then put the blue camera back on the dashboard lol. Why are you showing all of this stuff ? Just get to the camera.. Show me what the camera does lol. Less is more brother.
