I think we all need to take a second and discuss exactly what "perfect" means because it seems to me like we are not doing the word justice. For example we have a short list with several examples of perfect songs. In my opinion perfect is a collum that we should feel comfortable leaving blank on every list until the very rare exception comes along. I'm not saying your choices for perfect aren't good but I am saying our bar might be set a little too low which is extremely easy to do because the bar should be set so ridiculously high that we can barely comprehend it.
great video as always :) but i do think that swimming pools is more iconic than dna, stronger more than black skinhead, marvins room more than headlines, and lose yourself more than rap god. i also think that theres some new songs that are worthy of being on here such as look at me by x, lucid dreams by juice wrld and pop out by polo g and lil tjay. all 3 of these are known by basically everyone and i do think will be remembered as classics

This is so difficult because songs like Crank Dat are mid songs, but at the same time clarifying it as mid just feels so wrong. Maybe its just how iconic and nostalgic it is
Not having headlines as not a perfect song is crazy. It was everyone's ig caption or fb status back in the day, has bars, slaps in the club til this DAY, and is overall a timeless song, as well as XO tour life
Drop it like it's hot is an absolute Banger it's perfect you ain't gotta have great lyrics to have a banger just has to be catchy and don't have trash lyrics
I think Eminem’s rap god is perfect not just the technical aspect of it but the flows and the ability to come with all those words and fit them in a 6min beat
i mean does something being overplayed have an effect on how good it is? imagine listening to it for the first time again, was it just good to you? just curious
DNA is easily one of the best songs here, being overplayed doesn't take that away from it. But it definitely doesn't deserve perfect, it's not iconic yet, idk why it's even on this list.
i dont understand why you guys cant place a trap song in the perfect tier...check by young thug and xo tour life are much better than dna and most of the 90s songs you placed in perfect
Yeah because Indian Eminem fans who know nothing about Hip Hop outside of Eminem can't stop playing it, these same people think that rapping fast makes you a GOAT.
I agree, it is undeniably the best song ever created. Everything from the beat to the well thought out lyrics and delivery just makes it the best ever.
I agree, it is undeniably the best song ever created. Everything from the beat to the well thought out lyrics and delivery just makes it the best ever.
I think where the tier list messed up and you guys mentioned it was when you put Broccli and Crank That on the Good line. Because IMO Panda should be above them. I also think U Can Touch This and Crank That are arguably the 2 most influential hip hop dance songs they should be on the same line.
No art form is as equally unifying AND divisive as music. Like mfs come at necks over OPINIONS!! I love music and I love hip hop man, great video guys!

I don't think it's fair that with one song we talk about how incredibly hot it was when it was released and use that as a reason to put it in a very high category and with the next breath we're saying things like "this song is mid bed on how we view music in 2022". I'm not saying either process is wrong but i think that we need to make sure and apply both how the song was originally received, and how it is viewed today, on every song.

One of the greatest songs ever imo. The instrumental, the vocal effects, the “AGHH”. Great song..
This is so difficult because songs like Crank Dat are mid songs, but at the same time clarifying it as mid just feels so wrong. Maybe its just how iconic and nostalgic it is
Not having headlines as not a perfect song is crazy. It was everyone's ig caption or fb status back in the day, has bars, slaps in the club til this DAY, and is overall a timeless song, as well as XO tour life
Black skinhead is perfect I’m gunna pretend that’s where you put it lol
I knew we were going to have regrets about that placement😂
Drop it like it's hot is an absolute Banger it's perfect you ain't gotta have great lyrics to have a banger just has to be catchy and don't have trash lyrics
You guys should do videos where you dissect bars. You both always have good analysis!
I’d love to see them dissect Earls verse on Oldie I think that’d be a perfect start considering how complex the verse is
I’d say amazing
Guy said the most menacing Tupac song when Tupac has the Greatest diss track of all time
I think Eminem’s rap god is perfect not just the technical aspect of it but the flows and the ability to come with all those words and fit them in a 6min beat
nah songs good but its not close to perfect
@@jjustin.elllis so what song would be perfect?
@@hiphopbop3908 most of the songs that were on perfect list deserves it not rap God. It's great at best
It has one of the worst beats eminem has ever rapped on tho
The beat is fuckin awful tho
I was hurt when y’all said not perfect for “no role modelz”
Bro Rap God have 1billion views on RUclips it obviously have a replay value.
Trippin in the club is perfect prolly the biggest rap song ever too
DNA over No Role Modelz 😂 the meat riding is heavy
DNA is significantly better lil bro
@@combodrop2058definitely not no role models is versatile nobody is bumping DNA get the dcik out ur mouth
Sid the Science Kid was the clip from bad and boujee meme
I don't think these are made on tiermaker but it would be cool if they were and you could share it so other people can rate and share their own too
When you see take care album cover talking about iconic songs, you could think about like 5 different songs which is insane
I would put dna in good or great, very overplayed song
i mean does something being overplayed have an effect on how good it is? imagine listening to it for the first time again, was it just good to you? just curious
DNA is easily one of the best songs here, being overplayed doesn't take that away from it. But it definitely doesn't deserve perfect, it's not iconic yet, idk why it's even on this list.
When I first heard it, I was still not as impressed, guess I just expected too much since listening to GKMC and TPAB
@@bakhtiyarguseinov9402 i think they should’ve used back seat freestyle or maad city instead of dna
@@mateonelson3862 same idk why DNA is on this list, m.A.A.d City is a much better pick
I knew I wasn’t the only one that found out about bad and boujee through that sid the science kid meme
i dont understand why you guys cant place a trap song in the perfect tier...check by young thug and xo tour life are much better than dna and most of the 90s songs you placed in perfect
Blueface even being in the conversation💀
"Rap God has no replay value"
It has over a billion views on RUclips 😂
Yeah because Indian Eminem fans who know nothing about Hip Hop outside of Eminem can't stop playing it, these same people think that rapping fast makes you a GOAT.
by this logic we’d be saying Gangnam style has replay value 😂
Are you still bumping Rap God?
@@derond7405 yes is it does, it was played like crazy when it came out and people still listen to it, hence, the over a billion views on RUclips
@@NFRPodcast no one is 💀💀
Coming into this very late, but Drop It Like It's Hot is super underrated, Pharrell's verse and production is hard.
I love that song, it‘s perfect. I can‘t believe they discussed putting it on Mid.
In da club is one of greatest made songs ….way above Kendrick dna….your buggin.
*watches vid at night*
Ant:
WE HAVE A VERY INTERESTING EPISODE TODAY GUYS
WAP & You Cant Touch This belong in Good cmon yall
I agree, it is undeniably the best song ever created. Everything from the beat to the well thought out lyrics and delivery just makes it the best ever.
headlines -drake
brocolli -dram
black skinhead -ye
c.r.e.a.m -wutang clan
hypnotize -B.I.G
In da club is a perfect song..
Xotourlife needs to be in perfect tier 😭
Rap God when it came out was iconic... Now it's overdone...
Lemonade is the most iconic, when you hear that sound you already know
Wap bad content matter but crank that isn't? Wap's lyrics are obviously not deep but they can be entertaining
I agree, it is undeniably the best song ever created. Everything from the beat to the well thought out lyrics and delivery just makes it the best ever.
Okay now seeing this list I respect your guys takes a lot more solid
Hard Knock Life should be includuded in the list
I think where the tier list messed up and you guys mentioned it was when you put Broccli and Crank That on the Good line. Because IMO Panda should be above them. I also think U Can Touch This and Crank That are arguably the 2 most influential hip hop dance songs they should be on the same line.
I think WAP is at least great. It’s so much fun!
Gangstas paradise and in da club are solid perfects
I honestly want you guys to be more strict in these type of videos.Btw Amazing format and video loved it ❤️
NFR:
0:45 “I’m feeling amazing on it”
0:51 “I’m gonna go amazing on it”
Me: AYOOOO
No fing way Eminem’s only song is rap god till I collapse, not afraid, lose yourself, and love the way you lie are way more iconic
Nah
When im gone
No art form is as equally unifying AND divisive as music. Like mfs come at necks over OPINIONS!!
I love music and I love hip hop man, great video guys!
You should do a lot of artists and debate each artists best song
Saying goose bumps>sicko mode is a REALLLY bad take
you guys were too harsh on black beatles, the beat on this one is one of the most iconic beats of the last decade and it literally represented a cutural reset
and it is so catchy
also you said that they have great songs mentioning swang and no type but black beatles is sooooo much better than this 2, specially no type, this song is extremely overated
I can't accept that in da club is not perfect
Apple bottom jeans were jeans that literally had apples as the back pockets. I’m pretty sure u can look them up and find them
How is in da club not perfect🤯🤯🤯
Blue face didn’t come up with the word “thotiana” it’s been used in Chicago since 2011
