very good point.reason is paulus is going through a pickup, most likey a dupont bigtone, they often produce that sort odf sound.birelis isnt mic is too far away for that particular guitar.the stafan hahl guitars are in my opinion by far the most beutiful, lush and pure sound you can get.they just dont have quite the usual punch that the usual selmer guitar has that the sound guys are used to dealing with.it looks as if stochelo is using a levier mic.close range great acoustic reproductions :))
Stochelo's guitar/mic set up sounds the best. Paulus sound is too electric and very flat, while Bireli is too far from is mic... All three are awesome players though. Can definitely see Bireli's huge jazz knowledge, not just straight gypsy swing.
My personal opinion is that Stochelo and Paulus played more coherent solo's and layed more emotion in the things they played. I sometimes have the feeling Birelli wants to display to much skill, because it's expected of him. nevertheless, they all are more than great musicians! :)
Why, why, why is it always, "My virtuoso has a bigger dick than your virtuoso?" Especially when guitar is the featured instrument?! This is such an unnuanced way of experiencing art. Art indeed has a minimum technical requirement-- some kinds more than others-- but facility is never an end in itself, nor is it necessary to achieve the greatest level of expression. Knowing when not to (over) play is also a technique.
WTF is wrong with the PA or whatever they're running through? This is awesome playing ruined by a horrible soundman... Schafer's guitar sounds like it's fuzzed and was too loud, Bireli started way to low, bah.
I can not catch up Bireli 's left hand. He jumped here and there, change the positions, break out his licks in milliseconds but look so calm. Awesome!
Des doigts magiques ..... bonheur absolu ..!
Paulus is niet meer weg te denken in het rijtje der groten. SUPER!!!!.
That bass is humming like a bee. Damn sweet!
Which planet Birelli is coming from ....!??
Brilliant ! Bravo ! JL
Bravo Paulus, Merci beaucoup
both Stochelo and Paulus are fantastic... but Bireli is way beyond them musically! He is THE master.
De beste gitaristen!! Later wil ik zoals hun zijn.gipsy jazz
Bireli killed it, like always. My fav lick - 1:56-1:59. So elegant... Schafer could never play something like that...
They are all fabulous...but Bireli is just on a different planet imo
@3:17 I didn't know David Lee Roth was such a big fan of Django's music...
What a mastery ..
bireli is so incredibly in the pocket, its inexplicable
Profi mindhárom:) De a legjobb Birelli:) Kár hogy elfogy az improval Schafer:) Da azért király nagyon :) :D
Fantastic played guys Amaro schave :)
Joe Satriani you should showcase these guys in your G3 concerts!!!
Gypsy Shred!!!
They are playing "Joseph, Joseph" :D Awesome video!

Don't mess with Birelli 😎😎

what song are they playing because they don`'t play the real solo
Ariel Stuka Joseph Joseph
i'm shocked by bireli creativity
listen to stochelo at 4:37 - 4:43 then you know what i mean ..
there are not guitar players better than these
I would say it's Lonny Rosenberg, the bass player of the Rosenberg Trio.
Bireli just schooled everyone...
Pour une fois on sent Stochelo un poil ramer à cause du tempo...
what i think is funny are the people who think joscho stephan of all people is better than bireli .they must need an ear checkingh
..these are guitar monsters...(the sound of schafer guitar is horrid!)
