Mika Jiro it’s because the Joel guy stayed way way way too long in S3, his character should have left a long time ago like within the first 2-4 episodes, a huge reason why so many fans loved this show is because Zoe & wade as a couple and they kind of almost killed it in S3, I mean a lot of people started to believe that boring Joel is actually going to be endgame with Zoe which was crazy and it doesn’t make sense but he stayed for so looong
Joel was so freaking boring and he shared most of his scenes with Zoe which just made watching her scenes very hard and she’s the main character of the show so you really can’t blame people for losing interest it’s the writers fault for brining in such a boring character and for making last 16 freaking episodes of course people lost interest it’s like telling the fans to stare at a blank wall for almost all of Zoe scenes for 16 episodes

I know the show tried (not very hard, though) to play this as 'yeah, it's casual, Wade's here just for the sex 'cause sexual frustration (or whatever they got him to say early) and Zoe just needs comfort so no big deal' BUT LIKE??? this was hands down their most romantic love scene (I'd dare say their most romantic scene period) like Wade waited for how long to even get close to her and tell her how he felt about her, you can see it written all over his face throughout the whole sequence (what an actor!!) especially the after sex bit. None of this screams casual to me, it spells out LOVE. The scene was just EVERYTHING, e-very-thing! Like funny how sex scenes are so much hotter when they rely on stuff like on-screen chemistry rather than nudity or stuff like that (not that I don't appreciate that when it's well done because I do). Just finished the show because I was looking to feed my newfound Wilson Bethel obsession after seeing him own Daredevil (both the show and the character lol) with his brilliant performance and boy oh bOY.
