5:43 Is it bad to say that I have had such a long term fixation with symbol-based languages while being piss-poor at learning spoken ones that I used to try to turn in my homework in Wingdings 3? 😅 For some reason, however my autistic brain works, I can't grasp normal languages for the life of me (I'm learning Japanese for kicks, and that's actually easier, but for school I had French, and it was like walking over hot Legos barefoot) but I can easily pick up languages like hieroglyphics (I've created my own languages before and gotten fluent enough to read and write without a key.) So, when I was in elementary school, I had to be banned from Wingdings 3. And then Webdings shortly after. I didn't understand why they "couldn't just read it" but they offered wiggle room if I didn't use Wingdings 3 on my Word Processor permissions (because my handwriting was illegible, so I was allowed to type everything.) And then because ASD brain go brrr, I had to be told that just because Webdings has a different name does not mean the rule doesn't apply. 😂
