Having just finished the book itself I feel like this audiobook is actually better :/ Much less fat. Auberjonois' reading is fantastic. Although the climax gave me adrenaline in both the book and this :) I'll upload Shadow Dawn if I ever find the cassette
Greetings Brian, just to let you know that we got key references from your channel on the Chris Claremont and George Lucas Chronicles of the Shadow War trilogy during this entire Mousey Willow one season un-wonder. We crafted our Epistle "Anti Femina Heroina." We posted it on LinkedIn, detailing how Mousey Willow: deprived all audiences (and Princess Elora Danan) of what could have been a tremendous and pristine ironclad journey for a female hero "with a thousand faces," inspiring generations to come. Stay well, and thanks again for being a true phan.
I shit you not, I jumped into a random point in the audiobook to hear what it sounds like and I landed at 29:23 at exactly the second syllable of peacock.
I haven’t read these books, and I had no idea they were ever recorded as audiobooks. I’d love to read these, but at the same time I’m a bit afraid to because the story feels so bleak. I never knew René narrated audiobooks. To me it’s funny hearing his real voice because I’ve only ever heard him voice French-accented cartoon characters. R.I.P.
This is an abridged version. Most audio books back then were abridged because they would take up too many cassettes for a full version, which would be very expensive. A full version of this likely doesn't exist.
Music drowns out some of the story at times. All the same, it's been so long since I read these. Definite nostalgia. Dunno why they aren't at least on kindle or nook. Frustrating
This is a *heavily* abridged version of the text and I think it's so much better for it. I see what you mean about the music. You can still hear the narration but they could've mixed the sound better to make sure it's always front and centre.
I can't listen without seeing Odo reading to the children on DS9. RIP Rene..
His voice isn’t as grindy though. It’s kinda nice to hear him use a smooth narrator voice though.
Especially when they mention a magus.

Lol. Pig thought plowing was beneath him.
Same
I was was very confused for a moment there but this is the abridged version.. 🤣
How is it that these stories are not on audible? It's going to be a shame to have lost lore disappearing

I wish he would it would have been the full version. Cutting out the burning of Cherlindreas' grove was sad. Love every time i hear his voice though
This is great. Easier to follow the story than reading it. Tried reading it and couldnt grasp it lol
thank you always wanted more of this world of willow
Love this! Been wanting to listen again since my cassette wore out. Thanks!
Thank you for uploading this. Can't find this anywhere.

Thank you so much for this upload...don't suppose you know where one might find the other two in the series?
They only did the sequel to this (also abridged) but not the third.

Oh my god.
If anyone knows where the music in this book was sourced, please let me know.
Is there videos for the books?

I feel like some of content in the book is missing from this? No?

Did they really kill off most of the characters of willow at the offset?
I've read the prologue and chapter 1 of the full book and yes, apparently everyone is just dead at the start of chapter 1. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yes and its a big reason alot of people didn’t like these books.
Not "most". Two.
@@paulreilly2304 The two that most people liked
@@UltraGalaxyify Considering the how powerful the remaining characters become, those two wouldn't have had a strong place in this adventure.

Just like the Disney remake of Willow, accept good, not-woke and enjoyable.
