Dang, that engine sure sounds mean. Not a bad time for the first couple of runs. One you get the bugs out, you'll get the time you're looking for. Keep grinding.
Have you considered keeping your engine cooler and running it minimally while trying to make a fast pass? I don't know if you are running it a lot but, it sounds like you are in the video. A cooler engine will make faster passes and you can keep your car more consistent if you keep the engine cool. This is what most racers that are competitive in bracket racing do.
Went out last night, told the kiddo to hook up the drag and see what the da is. He comes back to me and says the elevation is-345 ft and da -145, temp is 50. I’m like this ole girl gonna roll! Then I was like what you sure, negative. That ain’t right! Lol. Guess the info on draft was wrong, usually it around 700-800’ where I’m at in ky. I didn’t even make a pass after that, lol.
Hey Brit I feel you should Warm them tires up more doing a burn out. And drop you Trans shift time lower .or better trans.my option. But either way awesome job "!❤good runs always learning something about the car.

People have mixed feelings about racing on the mile high, aero has alot to do with it. A car like yours probably likes the thin air to cut through. Whereas some like a brick don’t matter much, it just kills them every where, aero and engine power.
@@britneyautomotive yeah I know. But a car can also cut through the air better inhigher altitudes. Just something to think about. I remember some top fuel crew chief was talking about it, he was amazed cause the cars would run about the same there. The engines made less power some they tube them up, but the cars would go through the air better. I wish I remember who it was, it was a cool interview. Good luck!

My car is NA. The higher the DA the slower it’s going to be. That’s like trying to run a mile only though a straw
