The best Kenny story was when he said he could've made all star. LOL
To be fair Kenny was averaging 20 when hakeem was out and 17 on the season. Kenny played in the wrong era he was an athletic small scoring guard who was a deadly shooter. he scored 17 points in the handcheck era while only taking 1, 3pt a game, the dude shot over 40% from the 3 and well over 50% from 2 and 90% from the line. In this era he would be allowed to take way more 3s. lets estimate and say he makes 3 a game he's already scoring 23.7pts a game that season. not to mention having an easier time driving with the space in todays nba, Kenny was athletic enough to be in a dunk contest as a point guard.
There are a lot a great shooting little guards that didn't get to shine in their era I think muhammad abdul rauf could have been a 30pt scorer in todays nba. Kenny would have been a borderline allstar in todays NBA not that he could sniff the jock of Shaq and Chuck but he wasn't a scrub.
Then Shaq called him out face to face, best part was Kenny is talking to Dwade like he his nephew 😭

In Kenny’s defense, that reporter completely misquoted him when they asked Robert Horry the question. He never said he was the “voice of the locker room.” He said he was the guy that people could talk to in case they were having problems on the court as a veteran presence.
