I've always put stock in your reviews and seeing you be really brutally honest about these shows why. You easily could have done otherwise with these, but you stay honest and that's largely why I love this channel.
AJ's got to have his pound of flesh for every pair sold. never buy consumer grade sports gear from active sportsmen. just don't. they've just sold their name to some chinese manufacturer for an extra, low effort, buck
I have to say that this was a really great review. It was quite rustic in the sense that you did not bother with any on screen annotations or animations, but I somehow really appreciate that! You were really thorough in your comments to make sure there is no ambiguity in the message you are trying to convey. The description what honest and all around fair! Great review!
Nice review as always, have you tried the Mexican brand "Gil"? I think they are kinda new but I've seen some really stylish ones posted on Ebay here and there, maybe you can do an special on Mexican boxing gloves
They aren’t really a new brand. If you look at expertboxing review of them on his blog he explains that his stepson took over the company Zepol when the original creator passed away. It was a really well known company in Mexico. He started his own company under his surname GIL making the glove in about the same manner. They are sold on ebay and on casanova (not to be confused with the knockoff proboxing casanova) website as well
They're pretty good for the $ honestly. I've had almost every major brand glove out there from boxing to Muay Thai style & they weren't a bad Winning inspired glove at all. Especially if you can get em for under $100 USD. They aren't Winnings, but they also aren't $300+ either. Lol
Housing Emergency I’m actually I Thai boxer so I’d love to hear what you think of the Thai gloves you’ve tried as well as what boxing gloves you think work for Muay Thai?
@@isaacaltman3609 for thai boxing I recommend, thai gloves due to the protection it offers for kicks. Any major brand, like twins, fairtex etc are good. They will last long, since they are made thinking in the high humidity in Thailand. Check this channel, he has made some reviews on thai gloves.
@@isaacaltman3609 Nice. I train MMA & at 1 time I wanted to try all the boxing/Muay Thai gloves that I could get my hands on. Lol! As far as Muay Thai, I haven't tried Sandee but I'd say 1) Fairtex tight fit/Venum Giant 3.0 2) Windy/Boon 3) Raja/Top King/Twins I like punchers gloves best & Twins just felt a little more pillowy/bulky to me. But it's so subjective. As far as the boxing gloves I've tried I'd say 1) Reyes 2) Winning 3) Sabas Prime 4) Adidas Speed 300/D 5) R2C C-17 Honestly, I love the Adidas Speed 300 & 300 D gloves. They're my primary gloves right now. The feedback's great, they crack! Was AJ wearing Rival Gloves in his fight with Pulev but just scratched out the logos? Or did he actually wear these even though they are not fight certified?
He wore rival but he hadn’t scratched the logo off They were custom so the rival was white on white The rival were fight certified AJBXNG gloves are not sanctioned for fights so he can’t wear them for bouts
@@Fit2Box thanks mate there are some photos which might have had Pulevs blood on the glove which made it seem like they tried to scratch off the red rival writing lol
First, thank you for the honest review; you confirmed my suspicion of the glove. Second, it would be nice to see a review of Canelo's brand of boxing gloves, No Boxing No Life. They appear to be much higher quality than these AJBXNG gloves (though that's not saying much) but I'm also not positive they compete with top brands like Cleto, Rival, Fly, etc. It's also interesting that Canelo's brand is made in Pakistan (what I've read online) and not Mexico.
Wow. They're basically a signature glove with his logo on. They've really missed an opportunity there. Professional grade 😂😂😂 they could've had a fly glove for example or a top end Rival glove as he's used them for many fights & put his brand on them. What's happened here is an attempt to make the lesser experienced trainee think that the logo will turn them into a 6'6" 245lb heavy bag destroyer. It's just a marketing con 😕😕 oh dear AJ. Oh dear. Another disappointing performance in less than a month.
Going by the shape these look like cheap ass gloves that they sell in flea markets here in the U.S. for $8.00 I bet that if you rip them open that "padding" isn't even foam. It's just shredded up rags like the gloves here.
AJ actually uses these gloves pretty often in training, especially in recent times (watch that footage where he tears up an extrenly heavy bag practicing the left hook) . I always wonder why cause an athlete like him has unlimited access to the best boxing equipment out there. Probably they feel very comfortable to him and he likes that. Doesnt always have to be the most expensive stuff even for a pro like him🤷

Broken wrists for years
What brand made Anthony Joshua’s training gloves not his actual own brand. The one with the big R in the middle. Uses them in his channel.
Ronny Resendiz ringside gloves
Muhammad Viqransyah by any chance do you know the spicific name of the glove or anybody?
They're called the Ringside Omega G1 Ultra and go for around £140. It's the UK Ringside, not the US Ringside. Different company entirely.
