to see one of the greatest genius artists to have ever lived prove his honesty, integrity, and humility beyond 100 percent, after a career of basically already doing so, while he knows he's dying, just makes me tear up - but also one of the most Zen things I've ever seen
Katie - “Wow he looked like he was a tough interview”. Well babe when you interview someone who’s dying and doesn’t bullshit anyone, I understand how you could misconstrue that as “tough”, I guess... Anyway, “it’s not important to be remembered” is a cold steel rail to drop into a conversation. Awesome.
Yep. That comment really pissed me off. It didn't look like a 'tough' interview in the slightest - I'd actually say the complete opposite. Obviously I didn't conduct the interview, but as a viewer it appeared that Frank was extremely open, honest and almost subdued convivial! Maybe I'm reading far too much in to the comment, but it just seems so annoyingly typical, of a lazy, mis-informed and judgemental(albeit even subconciously) 'journalist' to assume that Frank was being 'difficult'. It didn't appear that the lady interviewing him(I'm sorry, I don'tknow her name) found him anything other than fascinating, funny, intelligent and charming.

Frank Zappa. No fvcks given. Even while facing impending death. My goal is to be this cool on my death bed.
I hope Frank and Norm Macdonald are high giving somewhere in the multiverse. Frank's humility is so beautiful.
Frank didn't believe in an afterlife
What is the muted words he is saying at around 8:00 min?. The taking of drugs is the license to what ?!.
