Few materials evoke the sense of mystique and elegance quite like black wood. Its deep, rich hue and unique grain patterns have captivated artisans and designers for centuries, rendering it a prized material for everything from furniture to musical instruments. But beyond its aesthetic allure, black wood holds within it a fascinating tale of history, culture, and sustainability.
The two main problems with black wood is the availability and the cost. We have solved this problem by designing a metal panel that looks like real black wood. It's immediately available and it cost significantly less than real black wood planks.
Black wood metal panels can be used for:
    Black wood fences
    Black wood ceilings
    Black wood soffit
    Black wood fascia
    Black wood siding

Is there any potential for rust or weathering with this? What kind of coating protects it from scratches and oxidation after?

All metal will eventually rust. This has a lot of protection though. The substrate of the steel is a coating that consists of galvanized and aluminum. Than it's painted with a high quality PVDF paint system. There is a limited paint warranty that is either 30 or 40 years. The paint has good scratch resistance, but like all other paint it will scratch. Hope that answers your question.
