    hello! I'm Adonai Regis, I'm Haitian. Warren I don't know how to thank you. I'm not a academic musician so, I do a lot of research so I know lots thing about musical theory. I can compare me a little like a conservatory musician. as I said, I know lots thing. I could tell you, I have a little knowledge of almost every topic you develop. but but but, the only problem its, I didn't know how and when I had to use these theory. now, watching your videos I could say you make me too much better. Respect to you Warren you are the best I meet. Thank a lot.

    I know this video was not about borrowed chords, but I want to know more about it! I hope you have the topic on your list of things to cover!!!
    That short discussion was blowing my mind. It was awesome.
    One question I had was where do you use the borrowed chords? I await the video answering this question. :)

    • @PianoLessonwithWarren
      @PianoLessonwithWarren  6 лет назад +3

      Victor Scott so the term borrow chords and passing chords are using interchangeably, because most of the time to use Passing chords are not diatonic chords, therefore it was borrowed from a neighboring key.
      When to understand this fully, it has to be taught in conjunction with reharmonization, and passing chord because they all sorta mean the same thing.
      I’ll do a video elaborate on the differences and similarities in these concepts.

    Are there common minor cadences or chord progressions, maybe with a song example? Like minor is a whole different world where you dive into Arabic, polish, Russian and French music. The European jazz/swing stuff, they all have different minor sounds, could you talk about that?
    Ever since I found your channel you saved me so much time, you are the perfect library. Very structured and organized. Good tempo and explanation as the examples and visualizations you give.
    I am becoming a music teacher and you help me prepare and remember, thank you a lot.
    Could you talk about bass a bit more or did you already?

      Kerry Zvalueman are thinking of creating video?
      What you see is three videos recording combined and edited to give you the final result.
      The virtual MIIDI keyboard on top is called MIDIculous. Then one overhead camera for my hands and for for my torso.
      Then all video clips are edited down in Premiere Pro.
