You're some piano player man...I stumbled upon one of your videos from 6 years ago, wow. Blown away. I like that this is a simpler beginner friendly lesson. Thanks for all you do. Truly gifted...but for us lower lever players...how the heck to you play F# so easily...wow, I always have trouble with the sharps/flats.
Thanks for the reply Warren. Yes, I guess one has to learn the keys/all notes in that key to play more fluid for chords and melody. What do you think of Piano Genius? Tim Gross teaches this online course. He's a touring player. I like the style but not sure the beginning will help me really understand anything. I used to take traditional lessons many years ago, but quit after a bad experience with a teacher. I had a gifted ear they said, but note reading in time was really difficult for me. Thanks again for helping us @@PianoLessonwithWarren
Well, Warren I’ve watched you on and off for a few years now, but this video I really find most interesting, especially for a beginner and I hope lots of new players will listen to this video. I could use this video when I start to teach one of my granddaughters to play. Thankyou so much,❤
Hehe i am guilty of alot here. Thankyou so much for this. Kindly make a tutorial of how you move your left hand as you play melodies in your right hand
@@viralbuthow000 voicing changes by based on the song. So voicing has to be taught based on individual songs or else it’s all just theory that doesn’t quite translate when you try to do it on individual songs.
God bless you, Warren! Thank you for easy to understand explanations. Do you have any tips for learning all 12 keys? It feels like it’s taking forever.

Do you have any videos specifically on voice leading? Maybe they're entitled differently in your archive and I can't find them
Are you referring chord voicing? Voice leading is a term that is often associated with composition and arranging; when working with multiple voices.
@@PianoLessonwithWarren Chord voicing

The best way is to learn one song per key; 12 songs total. If you new one new song each month, in a year you’ll learn all 12 keys.
@@PianoLessonwithWarren Thank you Warren! I will definitely try this.
Help me particularly in F#
It’s best to learn all keys friend. You’re setting up yourself for failure by focusing on one key.
