I just remembered a not so bad stealth game: Velvet Assassin and a very specific trivia: Styx appears in the movie Elle, by Paul Verhoeven, great film but with a veeeeery sensitive theme!
I had so much fun with both Styx games back in the day. Its level based, but some of them are absolutely enormous. Also, I enjoyed vomiting up my clone.
Your previous coverage of Ghost of a Tale influenced me to pick it up during a sale, and even though it’s marked as unsupported on steam deck I haven’t had issues so far. I may be stumped currently but it’s been a cool one! Thanks for the video 💜
I just bought the mouse sneaker the other day! And I have the Styx ones too. This is just to say, I know what sneakers are! 👍 You *have* to try Thief Gold/Thief 2 some day. It's where these things come from... 👏 _EDIT:_ Ah, you mention it yourself 😀 Great!
I've heard a lot of great things about Styx tho the game's personality doesn't totally click with me. Ghost of a Tale looks JUST like my thing aesthetically tho and I didn't know about it at all! At that very-low price I may have to give it a shot.
Better enjoy stealth games while you can because unfortunately this genre is dying and will probably disappear soon. The problem is that your average gamer doesn't have the attention span and patience required for stealth so most people suck at it. Pure stealth doesn't sell, it's already a dead genre, and now people even complain about stealth sections in traditionnal games (see Star Wars Outlaws or Spider-Man) so i predict that the industry, obsessed with pleasing everyone, will slowly back away from stealth completely.
Ghost of a Tale is SO GOOD. I really hope the sequel comes out and they get to make it exactly how they want.
Yee, looking forward to seeing their sequel too! ^w^
First time hearing of it and it looks great!

This channel hits me right between the goal posts. 🤘

I definitely had to look a few things up... I could not find the "Ramparts Guard" for the life of me
I absolutely love both of these games
So we've got Goblin Simulator and Gonff Simulator.

Man, these games are too slow and aggravating for my ADHD-self 😤😵💫
I feel that, not a genre for everybody

Sadly this seems to be true. Interesting stealth mechanics and games are a thing of the past
Yeah it really seems like things are headed that way. Hopefully some indie stealth games will come through in the next few years
