I have a blacked out 23 Durango hellcat. It's an amazing beast and i enjoy driving it every day. It gets a lot of attention especially with the AWE track exhaust and the Michelin pilot sport on new wheels. This thing hauls! I can't drive by younger dudes without them telling me to rev the engine and hear them say ohhh that's a hellcat! It's well worth the price but I live at the gas station.
@@relentlesslyKPI know what you mean. I had a 2021 F8 green Hellcat Durango. It was totaled a month ago by an idiot driver not paying attention. He rear-ended me going 55 mph. Broke my heart I did order the Silver Bullet Durango. Can't wait to get behind the Hellcat again. I miss the power and the attention. Also glad they brought back the Hellcat badge on the seats again😺
Every review speaks for itself. Everyone loves driving it, everyone has a huge smile on there face. They actually handle and stop really good. Most people are not capable of driving this vehicle to its limit.
In my opinion I think the Durango is underrated these days because a lot of people don’t think that it’s extremely practical for its size and being very unique in its segment
Yep. Everyone wants the latest and greatest, but you have to love an honest to goodness American SUV that can haul the family and tow 8700lbs. Oh, and be one of the fastest SUVs sold in the States, all under $100K(lots a coin, but it's a lot of SUV).
I drove this vehicle at a car meet and as a show car it did what it was supposed to do. This problem is the 392 is strangely fast costs less and gives us 9/10 of the Hellcat experience in the Durango. In the Charger the Hellcat is notably faster than the 392 once you get rolling but the zero to 60 in the Durango isn’t that different.
The Durango Hellcat is 1 second quicker to 60 and 1+ second quicker in the 1/4 mile with a 15 mph faster trap speed. It’s notably faster than the 392 Durango.
I love Dodge Challenger Oh, the Dodge Hellcat! That's a powerful beast of a car. It's known for its speed and performance. Have you ever seen one in person? It's quite a sight!
I love the color of the leather in her. My DDHC is the first car I ever owned without leather seats.I wholeheartedly dislike red leather seats and any color red for an interior color way.
Not criminal if people are still buying - The damn things still have strong retail sales even today and basically print money for Dodge at this point since all the tooling for these antiques has well paid for itself.
@Stressless2023 they would sell better with a nice redesign. I would buy one... not touching this one tho. I'd rather go with x7 or SQ7... and those aren't really that good looking either 😅
@@dawfurby Dodge Durango's consistently sell over 60k units per year and have for the past decade aside from a slight dip in 2022 with 56k units, never dropping below 50% retail sales since 2011, that is impressive for any dinosaur vehicle on the market, especially a Dodge.
The Durango seems virtually invisible these days. I've always liked it. Unfortunately even the "saner" everyday versions are overpriced (as more and more cars seem to be).
The Durango's interior was completely redesigned for the 2021 model year refresh. I'm not sure why you say it's an old interior when it has only been that way since the 2021 model year.
It definitely wasn't "completely redesigned" but was more of a light upgrade with some tech improvements. The main parts of the layout have been that way for well over a decade.
You can also put the car in ECO mode and she's much quitter. And a lot of features are locked until you hit 500 miles on the speedo, so yall did't get to truly open her up.
Here is the crazy part. For 1/2 the price an Explorer ST with a tune will outrun this thing. But if money was no object, I am taking the Hellcat all day long!!! Hard to beat that sound!!
Nobody is paying $115k for a “special edition” that has nothing special… it’s literally the same as the 21,22 hellcat durangos…. Dodge CEO really doesn’t give af at this point 😂
Just FYI: the SRT 392 and Hellcat Durangos have a different rear spoiler than other models, with an extra lip added for high-speed stability. It is tested to add 115 pounds of extra downforce at high speeds.
I got your last name wrong on my most recent post and I want to apologize. Your name is Hardesty, please forgive the senior moment and forgetting your family's last name and I know how important family and then in the names of our families are :-). Great show keep up the good work :-).
It is very good what they develop in their videos but it would be important that they also say that this design of the car is already old you need to update the body only for that reason I would not buy it , we want nice and good quality cars
Yeah I actually like the interior design of this BECAUSE it's "outdated" or whatever they wanna call it - I love the analog simplicity of it and the materials seem good - I'd only like if they added a 360 camera since I'm spoiled by it in my Infiniti, and some type of center console refrigerator option with heated/cooled cup holders would be nice for the six figure MSRP it has, my old 2005 Cadillac Escalade Platinum that I use as a work truck has that feature and I use it often.
Nah I’m good. I ain’t paying more then 80k for no suv. Idc how many horses it has. Be smart and get a 2011-2015 body style a r/t preferably and put a supercharger on the 5.7 and throw a hellcat cam in there, fuel pump, injectors etc. you’ll save like 90k don’t @me either I already had a homebody do it 2 years ago and it costed him 3k for the supercharger and with everything else it came to like 5500 and paid 12k for his Durango. Less then 20k to damn near have the same power. Stock it was 372, after the blower was added it came to 600.
