Hi Margaret. Great topic. I travel Australia in a van and do house and pet sits. I love the lifestyle that this provides. I look after lovely dogs and cats and such wonderful gardens. All the pleasure without the cost. I have taken up cross stitch after many years and find this so much fun. These activities are a few that I find value in.
Too funny Margaret! I was talking about this exact subject this morning! I achieved my life’s dream… but also lost a treasured life’s dream… now what… drifting?! Always busy doing art, walking, etc but….. and fast approaching 70!
Most people i know who retired are not living their best lives, there's lots of bloggers on here who will tell you the same thing, leaving employment for good and ageing is hard!
I’m 71 with a chronic illness and most videos of this sort I can’t relate to as just trying to keep up the house, get groceries (could be delivered but good to get out when possible, had a nice chat with checker yesterday who makes an effort to wear really bright colors to work) visit family on occasion, keep up with a few good friends - at least I don’t have to figure out what to do but do envy your travel Margaret.
❤I'm Pero Anderson, I was just browsing true when i came across your profile and i was thinking if we could be friends and know more about each other and be good friends here if you don't mind please sorry to say you are so beautiful my dear.. ❤❤❤
Its important for me to engage in learning. Our community college (US) offers free classes in person and online for Life Long Learners. Im enjoying memoir writing and voice classes. When travel is limited, I like traveling via RUclips as Margaret has suggested! Thanks for inspiring us❤
Such an interesting topic. I focused on empowering others when I worked. In retirement, I really enjoy volunteering for events that align with my beliefs. This brings me joy. Thank you, Margaret 😊
