the level of road trip food prep is goals😍 love the vlog! so happy that you arrived safely in your new home❤️
haha to prep food is satisfying! Thank you 🥰
Thank you for sharing your road trip with us. Loved seeing the beautiful sights and loved seeing you make wise food choices while on the road.
Could you do a video on tips for meal planning/prepping for travel?! I’m so impressed. When we go on trips I usually have to get fast food and don’t feel well. Any tips and advice would be amazingly helpful. Love your videos and food selections. You inspire me so much!
All the best. I am from Portugal and moved to Denmark. I love the city and the weather (I am a winter lover). But let me tell you family distance is not easy. I also feel that when we are older is harder to make new friends. But there are also good sides and south european people are cool:) So relax and enjoy:)
Aah interesting! I'm a summer lover haha :) Yes I can only imagine that it also gets harder with the long distance over time.. Denmark is also beautiful, we visited Denmark (Copenhagen & Helsingör) a lot when we were kids :)
I’m Portuguese too and I’ve moved to the US six years ago with my husband and two kids who were 4 and 6 years old at the time. Definitely harder to make friends at our age than our kids age! Very hard with no family or anyone that we knew around at the time but we managed to fit in and now we’ll be here for a long time :) challenging moving to such a huge country too!
Congratulations both of you! Really really pleased for you and wish you all the luck and love for the future . Arent new chapters exciting, nerve wracking and everything in-between? Love as always xx
Thank you! 💕 haha it’s everything in between actually 😂😅
I live in America and found this very interesting. Thank you for taking the time to share your journey. 💙
This is 4 am in shanghai, china, after watching few videos and excitedly learning all the healthy colorful recipies, i can't help but burst into tears when I watched this video. That's the life I want, and hope I will make it happen soon. Lock down at home 49th day of shanghai now, and this country just banned us from going abroad unless necessary reasons. Really hope this ridiculus life here is gna put an end soon, and I can start making it closer to the lifestyle that really vibes with me. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIDEOS!!!!
This was so nice & thank you for taking us along with you!🤍🎉
Happy you enjoyed 💕
Loved seeing you travel and seeing how you eat vegan style on your travels...love the music editing on your videos! Great job Pontus!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Goodluck to you both, love watching your journey, much love from South Africa :)
Thank you sunshine! 🥰 South Africa is on our want-to-visit list ;)
My dream is to move to Spain in Barcelona. I know how it is hard to leave the home but new beautiful experiences are the best by the sea. ❤ I wish you all the hes and can't wait for new videos!

Totally fun moving/travel video! Thx for sharing your journey. Loved your travel food. Excited to see vids of your new life in Spain.
Question: Why did you move from Sweden to Spain?
Thank you! We moved because we were tired of the Swedish winter weather and also we love it here :)
I so love all your videos ❤️, I loved the music ,and seeing how you travel eating vegan. I have never traveled abroad and feel as if I was there!
Why did you guys decide to move to Spain?? I don’t think I ever heard you talk about that. Just curious☺️
We wanted a change but still be in Europe and we chose South Spain because down here it's quite warm in the winter (like Swedish spring) plus the produce is great and it's super pretty with all the mountains and nature :)
I loved your music choices as you changed countries. So themed!
Thanks! Haha enjoyed picking them out 😍 💃🏽
Yeah me too 😍😍
Absolutely love this vlog
💚
All the best in Spain! Tried your snickers mug cake from the e-book, yum!! Btw, Pontas is very cute, I think I saw him for the first time!
Happy you enjoyed! haha I agree and he says thank you 😁
We are wanting to move to Mazzaron Spain next year and are a family of 4.
We eat an organic whole plant based diet.
Where so you get your healthy food? It seems to be that organic health food stores are limited there.
Vad roligt, blev sugen på en bil roadtrip nu!!!! Lycka till med allt!
Mysigt med road trip 😍 Tack!
wow no control at the borders, how chill
Haha yes so weird, we didn’t expect that 😄
This was so fun and exciting to watch! Wish both of you the best of luck in your new home :)
Thank you!! 💕
Love your music ! I wish you would list the artist and song titles 😎thank you !
haha yes the French music is awesome! Merci beaucoup 🥰
OMG I live in Lyon ! Did you find that te Fourviere road is the worst place ever ? 😜 I had to drive accross several times for the last 6 years, I just hate Fourviere !
Have a nice start in Spain !
Haha yes, that tunnel is pretty nasty haha so many cars 😅 Thankfully Pontus drove
What where Ur personal reasons to move to Marbella ?
awesome trip!
CONGRATULATIONS
What car are you driving? Hope you enjoy the move! Love the content 💕
Thank you! 💚 mercedes a250e, it's a hybrid :)
I am from Germany and I agree with you on german drivers: they are insane !!!😂
hahaha right 😂
I have sold everything I cannot lift myself to make moving easier...I would be nervous traveling without protection
What kind of protection?
Do I have to take the "exhaustion" from the German highway as an insult ? :D just kiddin
Haha or I'm just the scared one 😂
wonder what sort of electric car that is

MUCHA SUERTE Y BIENVENIDO👉💗👈
Why are you moving?
We want better weather year round 😄 and also love the south Spain produce 🥑 and nature
why?????
better weather, produce, nature :)
@@AlexandraAndersson oh i see. what about government policies/ economics.
I guess she is not an economic migrant, she is not going looking for work. Most European migrants in Spain are like that.
Gasoline aka Fuel/Gas is made of decomposed animals, Why are you driving
Wow, what a great experience! I've moved and lived in many states within the U.S. but never to another country. Thanks for taking us along with you! You may have stated this in another video but what led to your decision to move to Spain?
U.S is so big though! Because we wanted a change and Spain is in Europe but still offers a nice climate in the winter (at least south Spain) and the produce is 👌🏼💚
@@AlexandraAndersson Wishing you both a wonderful adventure in Spain!
I just found you and you took me all over Europe! Love it! I’m glad you reached your destination with no hassles and that you’re safe and sound. I just wanted to share this with you, when I make the chickpeas because I am Spanish, we never throw away the water, the aqua fava. But I do say drain the chickpeas and put the water in a sauce pan add the spices just like you said and wait until that water has thicken then I add the chickpeas and wait until it’s totally dry. What I get is chickpeas that are soft . The tahini dressing, OMG, where have you been all my life! I’m 73 years old who reside in sunny beautiful Florida USA. We came to visit Florida from the state of Maryland on the East Coast of the United States and once we saw the Gulf of Mexico, right then and there we decided this will be our new home. 28 days later we packed everything and we moved to Florida that was in 2013. So when I see you guys moving to Spain I’m with you!
Welcome to Spain!!! So excited for you both on this new chapter. Can't wait to watch your coming videos! ☺️💃🏻💕
Thank you! 💕 Yes, it’s really exiting 🤩
I lived in Orrefors, Sweden for 2 years. FAB country and people, but the 8 month winters with snow up to my eyeballs was totally brutal. Rubbery veggies all imported also not great. $7 a gallon for fuel in 1979 also awful as a student then on a meek scholarship. Can'''t imagine what gasoline costs now in Sweden.
GREAT MOVE - you two are adorable! Lots of happiness to you in your new home. LOVE your channel Alexandra. Always uplifting and healthy content.
Haha yep the winters can get pretty brutal, that’s one of the reasons why we move 🥶 Thank you for your kind words 🥰
Such a cute video! I’m very impressed that you food prepped for the trip!!
In Germany, there's usually no limit to how fast you can drive on the highway, but we have a rule which states that you should always drive on the right side when possible so when you don't do that, driving on the highway seems stressful because they are driving way faster next to you but usually it's a lot easier when you keep on the right side
We noticed this the hard way 😂 I think people were annoyed at us driving in the middle 🚗
@@AlexandraAndersson yees because as there's usually no limit to how fast people drive there is a wider range between people who drive fast or more slowly and it's also a huge difference if there are three or two lanes. I experience it a lot myself and I always try to take the right lane so faster drivers can get by easily. Plus, we seem to be always in a hurry in Germany 😂 hope you have a great time in Spain ☺️🥰
Welcome to Spain! I am from Spain but i hope i live in Sweden, and you are doing the opposite haha
Thank you 🙏🏽 Haha, how fun! 🇪🇸🇸🇪
I'm so impressed by the healthy and delicious-looking food you had. I feel like road trips inevitably lead to bad fast food restaurants along the way but you've proven that with planning, you can maintain a healthy diet. Thank you!
You two are the cutest couple ❤.
Oh wow epic journey, you were both so tired at the end but still so excited I'm so happy for you both 💗
You are looking beautiful as always 💕
You really travelled a lot. Hard work pays off 💫
I 💘 Spain..I miss Spain. I was there many moons ago.
So happy to see you guys made it to Spain! It’s fun to watch you guys go through this adventure.
Thank you! it's an adventure for sure 😍
I cant wait to follow your journey, we have a place in Almeria and find it difficult to find vegan food in restaurants.
Yeah it’s a bit more difficult here than in Sweden but so far so good 😊
We did something similar this year, but from Austin Tx to Vancouver Wa. We drove with the moving truck with all our furniture in it, in the middle of the snowstorm. Do not recommend 😂😂
haha I bet it was an adventure though 😜
@@AlexandraAndersson For sure! 😂
which moving company did you used?
I studied abroad in Alicante in 2006 and I was vegan then, and there were almost no nothing vegan nor vegetarian in Alicante or Spain in general. I used the happy cow website too, but there were not many places. I remember my host family made me tofu and cauliflower lol. So, I did indulge in some Spanish tortilla with eggs, but I ate a lot of espinacas con garbanzos, patatas ali olí, salmorejo, pisto manchego, etc. soneyimes with egg because I felt I needed more substance. But good to know there are more vegan options these days in Spain! I miss Spain! Andalucia is my fave!
Things have changed a lot, quite a few places offer a vegan menu and there are even fully vegan places now as well.
@@trut52 that’s great!! I hope to go back and visit soon!!
I hope you like the destination because... too many kilometers from home. xD :D Just kidding. Relax... :)
haha yeah that's right, will not do that drive for a while 😂
you are one Like me!😊 honour!❤️❤️ love you!
How can you eat a lot there? 😂
What do you mean? Where?
Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting and useful! Plus motivate to travel!
Happy you enjoyed it 🥰
Congratulations and best wishes for your new Spanish adventure! So brave if you to uproot and follow your dreams 🌟💖
Thank you lovely! 💖
Best of luck to you and your boyfriend! What a wonderful experience. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you! 🥰
I recently came back from a road trip, watching your video brought so many memories of it. Wonder how you both kept happy faces throughout, road trips can get dull and exhausting at times. And yes the washroom issue especially for ladies so difficult :|
How fun! haha yeah not all moments were filmed and sure we had our ups and downs, especially towards the end ;) but good music and snacking makes it all better haha.
@@AlexandraAndersson yes music and those talks :)
Now I'am hungry and wondering how long do you wait for the car to charge?
It’s a hybrid so we charge for an hour at the time, but it was hard to find the correct power outlets 😅
@@AlexandraAndersson ah..ok so it's an electric hybrid. That definitely reduces range anxiety knowing gas ⛽ is an option.
It's easy for people to move from Sweden to Spain since they don't need a tourist visa or anything else since Spain is a part of EU. And then it's easy to move also when you are young. If this couple would be now in the 80sh or 90sh ok, I'm sure they would be happy to stay i Sweden where thay take good care fo the elders. At least they did back then when Pippi Langstrump was popular och saltkrakan pa 60 talet.
You couldn't have chosen a better place to live... Welcome to Spain!
Loved this. Thank you for sharing. 👍
Where in Spain exactly do I live? We are thinking about moving there too.
Very interesting videos ! Thank you
Loved this video!!! Great job!
You made me cry too, just being real!
It has nothing to fo with 99 % of young people that belong to working class . Good video just for rich people that has never work or just very little .
Good luck !
?
Want to move to Scotland or Rome
I love you're videos
Is credit card 💳 common use in Spain ?
Yes, at least in Malaga :)
I love it ❤❤
Bienvenido! Greetings from Benahavís :)
Gracias! 🥰
"The few things that we have left are being picked up" - Pans to shot of 6000 boxes hahah
Hahah .. my selection of what English word to use can sometimes be exactly like that 😜
What a wonderful adventure! I loved seeing your healthy eating options as you traveled 😁 where are your sunglasses from?
Yaaay thanks! 🥰 They are from Eco Eyewere
Be careful of the volcano that is erupting at this moment in Spain
The eruption happened in the Canary Islands not in the Spanish peninsula 🤗
I love your Videos 😊 went by so fast 🥰
💕 happy it did! it did not went fast for us hehe
Why did you move to Spain?
Better weather, produce and wanted a change :)
so nice with a long vlog, loved it! xx
Thank you! Happy you enjoyed 💕
you are so lucky! i would love to travel to Spain rn!
